Re: My car: (MKII Revision 2 N/A)

came across this post when i was looking for information from one of my old posts! - lol! - not bad - only a year or so late! lol! long story short - driving home minding my own business when an Audi A8 decided to pull out from a side road into the fast lane of a dual carriageway without looking/ind...

Re: V6 versues 3SGTE versus the world...

so the video and timeslip showing a stock v6 mr2 returning the same time as a stock turbo mean nothing to you? or i suppose i falsified them as well? care to post them again?.. EDIT: you keep on claiming they perform the same - but yet again contradict yourself: We just carried out a 3s-gte to v6 s...

Re: V6 versues 3SGTE versus the world...

the hate campaign continues. the 13 sec quarter quote comes from the US boards, they have been building and tuning v6's for years... that was a modified v6 they were referring too,you will notice i was talking to JJ about it,that was some years ago when we didnt know the real facts for ourselves. As...

scottish,i dont know who you think you are or what your problem is with me but lets get some facts straight, our information and facts are based on real world experience of driving these cars (35 plus conversions built up to now) and a video of a v6 mr2 returning an equal time to a mk2 turbo on the ...

Re: V6 versues 3SGTE versus the world...

Mr Woods has put, and still is putting many 3sgte's into mk1's, I don't think he hates them at all, he just appreciates the fact you can put an engine in that performs equally as well and can drive to the moon and back.... Twice. My Woodsport v6sc for reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkZsP1...

Re: 3.0L V6 vs 1.3L

Well I don't want to have a go at anyone/any mr2. I've never had a dig at anyone's car. If they want to paint it in a bright colour, do something to the interior, engine, wheels it's their choice mate. We might not agree but fair doo's to em, they have had the balls to do it. Sorry if I sound sad b...

Re: 3.0L V6 vs 1.3L

I'm pleased it's made your night mate. I have said many times over if you want big power, go for a 3sg-te. I wanted something different and I'm sorry in your eyes it's not the perfect choice. I have been to numerous meets, with various monster cars and not one has slated the engine conversion. The ...

Re: Focus ST

I just find it funny that a 2.5 turbo only has 240bhp and the mr2s 2.0 turbo isn't that far behind from 15 years ago, it's a disgrace to be honest its a restricted engine because anymore power and all it would do is understeer like all the rest of front wheel drive cars, the reason why theyve put a...

V6 versues 3SGTE versus the world...

this thread was suddenly created for me.. i didn't decide the topic title either.. but good work to the mod or admin who picked it for me! :thumleft: in anycase - the point i (and others) have been making and PROVING all along is that anything that a certain V6 engine converter spouts should not be ...

Hi all, I had a result  My mate had no tax on the car and had to keep on the road, he was warned if not moved it would be lifted so he called me. I was not fussed if I bought or not so offered him £250, he accepted and even left a £60 JVC CD player in the car :thumleft: Some pics for ya, a...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] cams and pulleys

i wouldn't bother with cams until you've sorted the engine breathing (intake and exhaust out properly first) i.e. induction kit, manifold, exhaust and decat.. because there is absolutely no point in uprating the cams if you have a restriction either before or after them as they won't work to their ...
