i have a polishing kit and use the brown bar type compound when its really faded, or just for a quick buff up the classic car owners fave solvol autosol on some 1000 grit wet and dry is good my blueflame is still very shiney for 3 years old. :D :D :D

I painted mine on car with a little brush very easy 2 coats are needed though as first one is wishy washy, job done wire brush first and then use brake cleaner then paint leave an hour between coats it's goes tacky quite quick. :D

the stuff i used was on my car for 2 years only reason i went over them again was the paint had faded slightly and was not as bright, it goes off like 2 pack paint, like rst said ive hit mine with a hammer and didnt chip paint tiny little tin you get but goes far enough to do 4 calipers twice, women...

i use the brush stuff harder wearing and easier to use, ive used these twice and very impressed. :D :D :D

for your compressor you will need a water seperator and a preasure regulator at the gun to give an accurate flow of air, what size fluid tip is in your gun you would require a 1.3mm nozzel for base coat and a higher one if using primer ie high build as its quite thick. as for paint all depends are y...

apexi for me only one that comes with a rain shield, suppose something could be fabricated for the k/n though, apexi fitment is very good and i got mine secondhand off ebay was only 3 months old i had a touch, instructions in japanese though but are apexi not trading anymore. :D :D :D

paint, thinners, and primer works out quite expensive as i found out, i got fed up as only thing i cant do is spray cars and decided to have a go myself starting off with a border bonnet i made, i can see why it costs so much by the time you buy the primer, the basecoat, activator, thinners, straine...

dont know paint code for cosmos blue but all depends on what you spraying it in, ie 2 pack paint, cellulose, water based i recently bought a litre of mercedes silver in 2 pack to refurb a set of alloys and cost me £24 a litre, is cosmos blue metalic if so would give you an idea, cellulose is cheapes...

theres fitting instructions on knowledge base i think not hard att all just remember to grease it up before installing, if you have an ebay one it needs to be modified to fit small amount of grinding required as catches gear change rods nothing major. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

just read adverts on ebay and thay state needles dont have to come off, might be worth a mention to anyone fitting these dials, my visual performance ones have been superb been on car over 3 years now and still going strong. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

did your dials have big holes in the middle where needles go, reason i ask is dont you leave needles on and jigger about a bit, my visual performance dials were fitted like this was a pain in the ar$e but didnt remove needles, fitted white dials to a ford xr3i many many years ago and took needles of...
