I'm struggling to find gaskets/fitting kits for the PP Departure II Pro exhaust. Does anybody know where I can get them from?
Cheers,
Henry

ToyotaGT / 3S service centre - Simply amazing!
A massive thumbs up to James and co at ToyotaGT :thumleft: Took the car in to have some work done and whilst the car was being worked on James noticed that the car wasn't boosting properly. With his and the team's expertise they got to the bottom of the issue swiftly and sorted it out. Now the car f...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Wheel fitting questions
Thanks guys, will trial fit them over the weekend. Fingers crossed I won't need extended studs.
Can anyone confirm what constitutes a "turn" when fitting the wheels nuts?

[Mk2] [Generic] Wheel fitting questions
Having used the search function and read various extended wheel stud posts I haven't quite been able to find the answer I'm looking for so was wondering if someone can help me? I've just bought a set of SSR Integral A2 wheels, front 16x7 et 32, rears 16x8 et 38. Does anyone know if I will need exten...

Pacific Works - Top Notch!
A big thanks to Luke & co (who I met for the first time the other day) for fitting a replacement rear bumper and sorting out an electrical issue with my lights - all for a cracking price !
Also like to say a big thanks to Luke's brother Jules who I bought the bumper off.

Big thank you to JapAuto-Speed
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Roland & co at JapAuto-Speed. :thumleft: Roland & co worked tirelessly to diagnose and fix the various engine issues my car was suffering from. Not only are his prices extremely competitive but he provided step-by-step communications to ensure I didn'...

Re: Finally getting the troublesome tubby back on the road (I hope)
Well the cylinder head has now been removed from the car and it turns out that the rebuild that was previously completed was not done to a great standard - with one of the inlet valves isnt fully seated on compression so all the inlet valves have to be removed and re-lapped before being refitted. H...

Re: Finally getting the troublesome tubby back on the road (I hope)
The tubby has just passed its MOT (before any work was done to the car) - which is a result. That's one hurdle complete, now onto the more serious stuff; the cylinder head removal and diagnosis. Fingers crossed it's repairable...

Finally getting the troublesome tubby back on the road (I hope)
Ever since I bought my rev3 tubby back in May 2009, the car has been nothing but trouble. After just two months of ownership, I noticed that the engine was idling very rough so I decided to get it checked out. It was crushing news. Following a leak down test it was established that cylinder 3 was ha...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Boot stuck
You should be able to do it at your local Toyota garage though I went to a proper locksmith rather than a high-street one such as Timpsons. If your local Toyota garage is miles away then it might be worth ringing around a few local locksmiths and asking if they cun cut keys by their code.

Can the boroscope examination be done without having the head taken off and is this something you can do James?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Boot stuck
I had the exact same issue and tried filling the lock with WD40 in an effort to loosen it. This didn't work and I nearly snapped the key in the lock. I decided to take it to a lock smith and they told me my key was "very worn" so they got one cut using the code on the key and it popped ope...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Engine issues - what to do?
Only reason I thought that getting a replacement engine might be a solution is that many of them are guaranteed (albeit for limited mileage/time) and some have even had recent rebuilds.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine issues - what to do?
A few months ago, I was having a high/lumpy idle problem looked at on my 1995 rev3 tubby. After several hours fiddling with the throttle positioning sensor and replacing throttle bodies the cause could not be identified. Subsequently, a leak down test was performed and showed that cylinder 3 was hem...
