[Mk2] [Generic] Easy fix for fog light rusty screw problem
Surprised myself today I fixed my fog light rusty screw problem and it was very easy. Drilled of the heads and removed the lights. Then with a centre punch and a lump hammer and a good strong blow punch the remains of the bolt, this will break the tiny spot welds holding the nut on the other side. R...

Re: Which Wheel
Funny people interested in performance mostly choose the Gold and folks interested in looks mostly choose the silver, I prefer the look of the Silver wheels, however the Gold Rays are technically a much better wheel, good job they are only for the track

That might explain why it's talked about more on the US forum

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ARB mounts
Hi fella. It's not the mounting points ripping out it's just that rust can get to them (like any part) and rot them out. As far as I know the design wasn't changed. Just have a look underneath to see the condition of yours..... R. PS It's been a decade since I've seen NZ .... still beautiful? Thank...

Is there any way to visually identify a MR2 gearbox?
I need to replace the (LSD) gearbox in my 1996 GTS and Ive found a breaker who claims to have one but is not sure which year of car it came out off.
I know about the bar for the LSD but were there differences between years of the E153 and how do I tell between a E53 and a E153?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Downpipe or smash the cats guts out
As the title says any thoughts either way, I'm sure the downpipe will be slightly better and smashing the cats guts out will be cheaper (actually someones already done this to my car) but I was wandering if anyone had strong views either way or has tried both and has any thoughts.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Transmission Oil question?
You can just top it up, with the car on flat ground, till the oil comes out the fill/level hole. But if I were you I would take the opportunity to replace all the oil with some nice new fresh stuff like Redline MT90, it makes a world of difference if there is old crap oil in there now. Really depend...

The Altezza has the 3S-GE (not sure about the 3S-GTE) in the RS200 but its front engined rear wheel drive so I would thinkg the gearbox is a north south config?

What are Dino's setting aimed at road or track or a little of both, I'm looking to set my 2 up with a track bias which I thought would have a little more -ve camber.
Any thoughts
Another thing +ve toe (or toe out) on the front, really, am I missing something

Yes I was wander if the internals are the same as I need new syncros 3-4 and they are $650 just for the ring where as I can get a GTT box with a cracked caseing from a crashed car for $400.
