Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Safe mode? But no error code?
Hi mate, It was pretty dark last night so didnt have a chance to have a good look around, but I do remember when it went down on boost last time I reset the ECU AND tightened up one of the retaining clips around the intercooler piping as it had come loose.... Went out this morning to recheck the pip...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Safe mode? But no error code?
Hi guys, Got a strange one ... my Rev3 turbo is setup with a HKS EVC 3 Boost controller, set to 0.8 Bar and it holds nice and steady at this level according to my boost gauge. However, on a number of occasions now ive taken the car out for a spirited drive and whenever I drive over around 6/6.5K rev...

Removing Aftermarket Dumpvalve, what do I need?
Hi guys,
The dump valve on the 2 is, quite frankly, getting on my boobs (Blitz Super Sound) as such I want to revert to the standard setup.
Can someone please advise what bits im going to need to do that? It's a Rev3 Tubby.
Help appreciated!
Cheers

Re: MK2 Rev2 Turbo
Reg - J666 BDB. Odometer shows 37'000 miles - although I believe these to not be the original clocks. I'm reducing the price to £2700 due to needing to sell ASAP and a couple of issues that have arisen since I listed the car: Slight squeeking starting to come from the rear when setting off from idle...

8/24 Inhalation temperature indicator
I believe.... although that's for a Turbo, so could be different.

MK2 Rev2 Turbo
Thought i'd post this up as it's own ad, but basically Lous old car! http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93892 Considering selling due to fuel costs more than anything, as well as a change in job means i'll be travelling over 50 miles as a round trip daily and I don't fancy running the 2 in...

Re: Mk2 Rev2 T-Bar Turbo -New pictures!
Indeed, was going to post up to let people know. If i'm being honest i'm still torn between selling the car... I put it up for sale as an impulse, now i'm feeling the need to keep. :( Absolutely flew through the MOT, needing only new plates due to incorrect lettering height/width.... stupid MOT rule...

Steve - do you find that you get rubbing under brakeing at all? I'm very similar setup to you ( in wheel size/suspension ) and i'm getting a bit of grinding from the front under braking ... wonder whether it's the caliper, or the arch!!! Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel cut on a rev2, according to EBC reading = 15psi?
What reading of vac do you get please mate?
I'm thinking about getting a 3rd gauge, to see which reading is accurate... just hope this one reflects at least the EBC, or the mech gauge... because if it doesn't, and I get a 3rd reading, i'm not going to be happy, haha!

Hmm strange. Where abouts is your boost gauge plumbed in mate?
Is it the type of gauge that gives a vacuum reading at idle?
