Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel cut on a rev2, according to EBC reading = 15psi?

Hi,

When I bought the car it was listed with having a FCD, but I can't seem to see anything 'out of the norm' based near to the ECU. Could it be mounted somewhere else? General consensus seems to be it would only be in the boot.

Cheers

[Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel cut on a rev2, according to EBC reading = 15psi?

Hi all, Just wondered if someone could please let me know what the fuel cut should be on a Rev2? I've installed a Blitz EBC which reads @ 1.10 kg/cm2 = 15.65psi peak before hitting fuel cut. I always had the impression that fuel cut on a rev2 was around 13? Could it be my EBC is reading an incorrect...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz EBC - can someone please point out the in/out in this picture!

Hi guys, Decided whilst I was messing with my MBC I may as well go full tilt and fit the EBC I have sitting here. Ive got all the wires sorted out, just need to connect the solenoid up to the turbo housing/actuator... and im stuck, it has 3 outs, whereas I was expecting only 2. Is one a 'breether' o...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] MBC fitted... problem with Turbo, possible fuel cut?

Is fuel cut 12PSI? An Omori 45mm gauge. I do have an EBC that i'll be looking to have fitted soon, the MBC is just a stop gap really. Is it possible my gauge is out, and I was pushing more than 0.8 BAR? Might have to avoid doing anything else until I can be sure the gauge is reading correctly. :|

[Mk2] [Turbo] MBC fitted... problem with Turbo, possible fuel cut?

Hi all, Fitted a MBC recently. Took the car out for a spin so I could start adjusting the controller. As per the insturctions I started with the screw as far out as possible, without feeling like it may fall out! I gave the car a bit of beans in 3rd to get an idea of where to start, and my gauge dis...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Recalibrating boost gauge?|

Hi all, I have an Omori boost gauge in the stock location. Problem being, the needle doesn't sit at 0 when the ignition is off - in fact it sits about 1/4 of the gauge under! Due to this, im not getting an accurate reading of what boost the car is running. For example, under boost the needle moves a...

What a scumbag.

I was in a similar position a couple of years back, road was far too thin for HGV and a lorry decided he was going to squeeze past anyway.

Dented my entire front wing and drove off. Luckily someone witnessed it, and knocked on my door to tell me!

Re: More Rumours Of Bluray 360's

I like games, I know which i'd choose. PLUS - everyone knows PS3s are for sailors, and queeny types. Just the way it is i'm afraid. 360s on the other hand are for real men . A bit of a typo in your post there - I think you mean cave men. No no, not at all. I meant real men. No typos to see here!

[Mk2] [Turbo] Paddle clutch... VERY noisy!

Hi all, My rev2 Turbo has a paddle clutch, and it makes a grinding noise all the time the pedal is pressed. Even if you slightly press the pedal it makes the noise ... best way I can describe it is like a cat being strangled Rolling Eyes Anyone have any ideas what it might be, i'm assuming it should...
