Re: [Mk2] [NA] Will this fit?

Thanks just wasnt sure which car it was from. Which blueflame have you got, off the shelf one or bespoke? Ive been looking at them as theyre main warehouse is not that far from me, price is quite high though at £500ish. Do you get the nice V6 burble with yours?

[Mk2] [NA] Calling all V6 owners, exhaust help required.

Hi, Im currently in the process of replacing my exhaust. I need to know what pipes are needed for the 3.0 engine. Basically everything except the backbox. Im not sure whether original MR2 ones will fit or whether I will need the ones for the actual Camry engine. Any help with this would be great! Th...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Will this fit?

Thanks guys,
Just got my car back from the garage and the pipe behind the back box are blowing like crazy and need replacing. Do any v6 owners know if these pipes are fabricated to fit, from a camry or are they stock mr2 ones? Im completely in the dark as to which part I need to order.
Thanks!

Re: Temporary insurance advice needed

Does your freind have fully comp insurance on their own car? If he does then he may already have 3rd party insurance on any car providing that car has insurance and he has the drivers permission. Worth a check. Failing that temp insurance is expensive. No big companies would quote you for such a sho...

[Mk2] [NA] Will this fit?

Hi just a quick question. I have a V6 conversion and my car was an NA. Im looking to change out the exhaust (back box only) and found a Fujitsubo Legalis R backbox from a turbo. Will this fit my car? Im aware that turbos and NA's have different fitments but this is just the backbox. I have the decat...

Re: How many of you have done the V6 conversion?

I had mine done back in 2008 by Woodsport. Cant agree more with the above post. The power is always on, really torquey, you can pull off in 2nd from a stand-still no problems and 3rd too with slight judder lol.

Re: coolant pipes

I wouldnt go second hand as its a ball ache to fit them and if they go youll have to drop everything again.
Mine were brand new but dont think I paid anymore than £200 for them and that was at toyota.

Re: Whining - wheel bearing or gearbox ?

I may be in the same boat as you, having my mega loud Japspeed exhaust taken off today and replaced with a stock system....so all the bad noises Ive been deaf to over the last few years will become audible, or hopefully not!

Re: Whining - wheel bearing or gearbox ?

Same problem, replaced my gearbox with a lower mileage one. A good way to check is to put the car in neutral when your driving, if the whine stops then you know its a gearbox related issue. Having said that towards its last few days of life mine was noisy all the time. They are quite reslient though...

Karl I would re-trim the whole dashboard, I saw a pic of one a while ago looked really good, totally modernised the interior though I have no idea of cost etc.

Re: Some journeys....

Bad! Foreign lorry drivers should have to pass some form of UK driving test before being allowed on our roads, some of their driving is shocking! Ive had a similar thing happen to me, they just dont look and hardly any of them have a blind spot mirror.
