Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Arc air induction box

i was going to go for the ARC box but Apexi was top in some of the reviews so went for apexi.

I heard the metal ARC box absorbs engine easily heat thus becoming a heater.. don't think that's good for intake temperatures

i'm sure cone filters have higher surface area than panel filters as well

Re: Trolley jacks + Axle stands

Personally I think a higher capacity jack is a better idea- it'll easily lift your car safely, but will also cope with anything else you throw at it as well (lifting the odd range rover for example  )- all well within it's capacity. It's also wider and so a bit more stable- always a good thing...

Re: Trolley jacks + Axle stands

I half own a Sealey low clearance jack. Definitely was worth buying as my bro in law and i have owned many lowered cars. We have the Yankee 3001LE. Re: New Intercooler

the shroud is necessary because it forces air through the intercooler.

The fan helps to lower intake temperature when car is stationary but isn't really necessary as you'll have airflow when the the car is moving.
