Re: Gram Lights 57 Pro with Teins Flex suspension

Hi,the lip(dish) wont be the same on the 8's as it is on the 9's, if they both have a 35mm offset, the fronts will have a smaller dish/lip.With Tein coilovers a 33mm offset on the fronts (8's)will just about clear the coilovers, too much lower offset than 33 and the wheel will be sitting proud of th...

Whilst I wholly admit, a lighthearted comment or thread in the proper place and time can lift spirits, bring a smile and raise humour, pointless threads, comments like the aformentioned "cheese" incidents just goes to show that there are people out there, who are for want of a better phras...

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] Turbo Flutter?

Hi,

When I put my foot down, I hear a whoosh, then a chattering/ticking then it flutters before whooshing and gaining speed!

Never noticed the chattering before as i was too busy grinning and holding the steering wheel kinda tight!

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] Turbo Flutter?

Hi Blood,

Is the sound you refer to like a metallic chattering sound, like false teeth chattering, just before the whine and whoosh when accelerating?

I am new to all sounds and spills of the turbo angine so of course all this is new territory to me! Lol :D

Re: Turbo Conversion

Hi m8, I just had a conversion done and to be honest, I seriously underestimated what was involved, what parts were required and also the stuff you can have done at the time that made *economical sense* to have completed whilst everything is out i.e. engine, gearbox etc etc Having conversion gives y...
