Re: A Big Thanks to ROGUE Systems.....

Looks great matey, how's she to drive? :D My two drives like a beauty! But I have never driven a turbo for any lenght of time. I drove one about 4 years ago but never since, but was a memory etched on my brain! I am so used to planting my foot on the floor with the NA but driving the trub...

Ive been turbo'd

Climate control is great! I've got it on the Supe... set a temperature, press 'auto' .. and it just works :) I love the black AVCR... much less flashy than the silver/blue one! What you running it at, at the moment? Yes it takes some getting used to being Turbo charged now! The AVCR was set up by t...

Insurance

Hi I have just had the same problem with the exception that my car is undergoing a turbo transplant as we speak. My car is a 98 REV 5 but I used to pay £375 fullly comp with unlimited mileage and travel to and from one place of work. It included driving others cars benefit and european green card to...

Re: Apexi AVCR - Fitting advice

Hi, My car is with Rogue at the mo and I had a look at some of their other cars they are working on and lo and behold they have a car with an AVCR fitted exactly where the ashtray fits! I am sure tho that the owner (or whoever) had to remove the the slot where the ashtray slots into and fitted the a...

Safety FAST

I concur with Chris aka TALLBLOKE. WHen I had my MG there used to be a magazine for MG owners (its a classic thing...) and it was called safety FAST. It was based on the premise that all cars are fast, but that safety was equally if not moreso important. Like the previous post says, it only takes a ...

Tyre Sizes

Hi, thatnks for the comments and advice. I had a set of REV 5 standard 5 spoke alloys that were starting to blister a lot on the front and marginally on the rears with toyos (standard spec sizes) all round and then bought 16"s OZ superturismo. The tyre sizes I have on these are I have are AVON ...

Which size alloy is better for going Tubby - 15" or 16

Hi All, i have gone down the tubby route and am having a conversion done professionally by the good guys at Rogue Systems. My question is this...................... I have been told that when you turn to the darkside, tyres become all too important. This goes without saying but I now have two sets. ...

Boost guages help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am wanting to have a boost guage fitted and really like the ones that are black with the car off, but when you put your key in and turn it on, the boost guage then lights up! Id really like a 52mm one and to mount it on drivers side dash by the a-pillar. I have looked at a-pillar pods but most...

Re: alarm advice

The reason I would not get a Toad alarm is that my friend that works at Unicar (he fits car alarms for a living) says that the Toad alarms are a pain in the @rse! and that Toad do nothing for customer care if anything goes wrong with your alarm. .... im getting a Clifford concept 650 fitted. The ma...

Boost guage

Hi all, just a quick question.... I am having a conversion done and would like to have a boost guage mounted inconspicuously in the dash. My problem is that I have a double din unit in the dash already that i quite like and would like to keep, so I need to put it somewhere else. #-o Looking at my UK...

Re: [mk2t] Tyres (again ;) ).

I agree wit you !!! Toyo's advert is cheesy and makes their tyre sound gold plated!!! The tyres I found are very grippy, but do wear reasonably compared to the yokos I had. 2 sets in just under 2 years! I dont know about the T1-Rs, but if they help save your rims, then I think it is a good idea. I g...
