Re: Rev 2-5 gear knob in Rev 1?
Yes the gen5 shifter is stitched in red.
I would recommend changing your shift lever and gear boot to December 1991+. They are a straight swap.

Wideband ? You aren't going to run out of fuel with a CT series turbo.

Stick with the ct20b.
A CT26 hybrid is not an upgrade. No matter what the people that build and sell them claim.

From the cat converter back they are all the same. Nur Spec is for 1989-1999 models.

Nope. Had 245/40R17 on the rear, only needed to lightly massage the inner lip a tad. Lowered on black Bilsteins and TRD springs.

What is the point of doing a conversion if you keep the stock injectors?
Fit a ct20b, downpipe, exhaust and enjoy life. You dont need to do any conversion.

Bridgestone RE003. Far superior to the T1R. The sidewalls don't flex like the T1R and they have much more wet grip.

The only reason you would voluntarily use T1Rs is if you were sticking with the stock 15 wheels. Good tyre fifteen years ago. Tyre tech moved along quite some way now.

Yeah with careful tuning you might make a tad more power than the efi system. You will never get close to the fuel economy that the efi system has though.

Not enough information. Need offset and width.

Nothing wrong with an OEM clutch. Make sure you buy a genuine Toyota throw out bearing to go with it.
I've run 12 second 1/4 miles on a stock Toyota clutch in my last turbo.

Won't surprise me if one of the cables has snapped thanks to the bearing replacement. Bearings don't move like the original bushings do.

Buddy of mine had a version 6 STI sedan. Quick car, my old 91 turbo with ct20b, exhaust and down pipe and 1 bar of boost would walk away from it on the highway with ease.

WRXs arent even fast. Unless you have an STI model.
Good launch until the chocolate gearbox lets go. Zero top end, even th MR2 has better top end than a WRX.
