The factory valve is fitted for noise reduction and to a lesser extent, emissions.
The ST185 GT-Four was never fitted with one from the factory and they use the same engine and turbo combo as the 1989-1993.10 SW20 turbo.
You don't see ST185s with broken ct26s anymore than you do SW20s.
Yep the windscreen aerial works quite well too.
I can't remember entirely but I think there is a different plug for the windscreen aerial that should be tucked in behind the stock radio?
Standard all the way. It just looks right. For a body kitted car to actually look good you need to spend serious coin on fitment, some quality wheels and rubber and suspension so it sits right. A top condition standard car is always worth more than someone else's project as well if you want to move ...
Yep my RX8 is fitted with speed flaps on all four wheels from factory. It is a ton more stable at speed than the MR2 was. Too bad it takes twice as long to get there
Yep pulling the hose from the base of the boost pressure sensor and then using that port on the manifold for my aftermarket boost gauge is how I deleted the fuel cut. It does delete the boost cut entirely. You only have the stock knock sensor as back up protection. If you are comfortable with this, ...
The HKS FCD will only let you raise the cut to 17psi, or eliminate the cut all together.
Car will be fine at 1 bar as long as it's in good shape. New ignition, fuel filter, 98+ RON fuel used, coolant system in good shape.
You can still refill with R12......If you know the right people. I've had my previous two SW20s refilled with R12. A whole lot colder than that rubbish R134a
