i'm not great with turbos but it sounds like its something to do with the actuator, have you tried unpuging the boost modual from the engine and letting it run as standard? try feeding a hose direct from the compressor into the actuator and see how it runs?

i would put water injection on it, realy cheap and a great power gain, also protects again detonation at the top end, i should be getting my aquamist kit soon, only going for a basic one at the mo to see how it works.

yeah its a very bad thing, thats why u only get the sound when u ease of the throttle gently, u keep the bov cloded forcing the built up boost to go backwards into the turbo causing compressor surge and stalling your turbo, plays xxxx with the bearings but sounds the dogs. ide say stick with the HKS...

get the apexi avcr, its not cheap but its easy to use, it learns your gearing and has two boost level setting, looks the xxxx aswel. ofcourse i have one on my rev 1, a bit of a pain to wire up but i can do that for a few benjamins. the standard boost controller has to be blocked off ur right there. ...

yeah that ssq makes that noise inbetween high and low boost valves, since there are two valves i think on the unit its the low boost and the hight boost opening and fluttering. the noise your on about i think comes either from induction from the afm or yes a performance wastgate or actuator. cheers ...

my blitz one used to do this when i got to around 110mph you could ease of the throtle and keep it open while going at that speed, terrible for fueling so i bought a hks ssq one, i know there not cheap but there a pull type and use boost to seal them so definatly a difference in performance and the ...

have you done your antiroll bars, i just put tein type flex coilovers and before i strengthen the cassis i'm looking into sway bars or anti roll bars. if you dont hav em its definatly something to think about and there not too dear.

Nah man u need to look into a colour called toyota crystal pearl, a realy subtle colour that is great in the sun, oh and my mk2 happens to be coated in this rare colour.
