Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Advice on fuel rails

you will need a FPR, people tend to use the aeromotive and i've seen the sard ones being used. remember that tim price matches any uk company and his prices include delivery. what power are you going for because to use the full potential of the 1000cc injectors idealy you would need to use a good pu...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] eliminating the Oem Oil Cooler/warmer? heat exchanger mounted on block...??

that wll only bolt onto the base of your oil filter or on a rev1/2 on top of the oil cooler. to get rid of the cooler completly is just too much hassle due to the water pipes and i believe it has a relief valve inside there somewhere.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 3 inlet manifold

i realy dont see the point in the ats and jun style units as they dont realy solve the problem we have with the manifolds. especialy the ats one as it has rev1 stacks which are poor at high hp. the jun style one i have seen working but if given the choice a good side feed with equal runners would be...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Advice on fuel rails

cant fault rhd but yes anything above 200-250 you will get stung on some taxes, although i bought something for 350 and the charge was only 39. back to the fuel rail, you cant use a rev3 rail on the rev1/2 as the gap is different. personaly i would buy products like this from the uk and when you rec...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] oxygen & flow sensors

flow sensor? i assume you mean the cat temp sensor. theres no need to have it and because the lambda is so close to the turbo it warms up sharpish so no real need for a heated sensor. heated sensors are used because you can get an error code when the heater brakes down, its harder to do this with a ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Advice on fuel rails

i think the top feed makes more sense, it keeps the flow accross the rail more constant instead of having an injector to pass through.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 3 inlet manifold

that manifold is a JUN copy simply a different surge tank welded to the rev3 runners.

also you cant use the standard throttle body with that. ask nathan from century motorsport because he uses one.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Overfueling, Where should I be looking

after the car has warmed up stop the engine and pull the 15amp efi fuse from the engine bay fuse box, leave for a couple of mins and then reconnect. when u restart engine it will idle rough as it needs to learn the idle again, so you will have to fix your tensioner before you do this. then simply ta...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 3 inlet manifold

tbh the easiest thing to do is buy an rmr side feed when they eventualy make em for the rev3, i have a centre feed one for my rev1 and its awsome the quality is incredible.

forlife is good stuff but you dont realy need it, the bgb only says that it needs to be ethylene glycol based, so pretty much most of the coolants on the market, the colours mean nothing realy.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Injector wire colour in ecu? EBC problem urgent help needed!!!

if i were you i wouldnt connect it to the injector, the avcr prefers to be connected to a rev output as it allows it to learn better. if you can find that wire your better off.
