Re: Unbelievable what hapend to my Blitz Nur Spec R!!

Thanks for the advice James. I am a kind of novice with this, could you please detail what you mean by "get it rewelded with less tension on the mounts". Its the metal plate (the bit which has the bolt through it and is then bolted to the roller type mount on the car) which has snapped (ju...

Re: Unbelievable what hapend to my Blitz Nur Spec R!!

Man, its unbelievable! I bought this thing from new and would expect a lot more from Blitz :(

Does anyone know if these things have lifetime warranty. Alternatively, has anyone got this problem fixed?

Re: Unbelievable what hapend to my Blitz Nur Spec R!!

Naww got a Garage to do it and wasnt rusty or anything! Its the steel plate thats connected to the hanger on the exhaust that snapped - just underneath the bolt!

I cant believe it because the rest of the exhaust is mint :(

At first I thought it was something to do with my new brake upgrade or something, but it sounded like something was bouncing o_O I finally checked my Blitz nurspec R only to find that t...

Urgent Help Needed Please - Wierd Brake Upgrade problem

Hello all, I recently purchased some rev3 calipers and discs from someone here on IMOC. I have also posted a few questions here in the past as to what was required for upgrading the rev1 brake system to the rev2+ one. The wierd problem I have is this. According to the mechanic, the newly purchased r...

Re: Rev1 to rev2+ Brake upgrade

Thanks for your replies guys.. Just wondering tho.. dont the caliper mounting brackets generally come with the caliper? Can anyone tell me what they look like lol. This way I know if I have it with the caliper or not. Lastly, is there a way of checking whether a Caliper is in good condition or not? ...

Is the mr2 "ideal" for drifting??

Hi all, Ive been having some general banter with a mate about drifting. He argues that it is too heavy at the back and too light at the front to "ideally" accomodate drifting (Mr2 tubby with uprated LSD) What are your views on this and how many guys here drift well in the MR2? Would be int...

Dont know if I have a boost problem? Please help

Hello all, I have been reading through the knowledge base and ex-posts regarding BOVS. I came across something I may have to be worried about! I've got a rev1 tubby and when I floor the car, the boost gauge (std one) does not go up to the plus sign but more like 3/4 then steadily rises as the car re...
