Re: BP Ultimate 102 RON fuel

If BP keep this fuel available long term then I may have to invest in a motec ecu so I can have a map especially for this fuel as I think it's good stuff,in the mean time I'll use this fuel every other time I need to fill up. You can now buy the Apexi Excell software,so i think you'd be able to dow...

Re: 19s and lowering

I removed the plastic arch liner and they seemed to work fine, only rubbing issues i had was on full lock.Your either going to need coilovers as already suggested or move the stock spring seat further up the shock to get the clearance. This was mine with coilovers,no idea how low it was but i'd guess ...

Re: Rear tie rod end bushes

I'am sure its that,i've removed the bar and clamped the end in the vice and i can move the bearing back and forth in the direction that it see's load.BTW i've just had to replace the same side wheel bearing after just 18months,the tie bar and bearing on the other side are fine.I'am wondering if this...

Re: Rear tie rod end bushes

Yes Peter the rear tie bars that run parallel with the drive shafts, you can adjust the rear track with them.I think you've got to buy the complete bar from Toyota.

Rear tie rod end bushes

Does anybody make aftermarket bushes to replace the standard ones?Mine are shot, but so far it seams that the only replacment is OEM equipment

Re: Suspension & 19's

He used early revision rebuildable struts and Koni inserts, this way you can reweld the spring mount further up without damaging the shock or the risk of the shock exploding!Instead of using a 40mm lowering spring he used a 60 thus moving the spring seat up 20mm.

Jonno moved his standard spring seat up on the strut.Thats what he asked in his first question,if it was possible. And i think Jonno's running a 235 up front.

Re: Suspension & 19's

I had 19's fitted for about 2years,as said the ride is harsh but i thought they looked great.Fair enough the handling maybe screwed up a bit but at the end of the day mate its your choice.Your idea will work,i know Jonno on this board has done the exact same thing to enable him to run big/wide tyres...

I made the exact same power as you 306 at the hubs on Thors dyno at 1bar.Spec was close to yours cams,PFC and turbo or be it a smaller garrett item. What are your cams dialed in at HKS's spec?.

Re: Clutch slipping, uprating advise

Hi Jim.It cost £440 with IMOC discount from Fensports.A little pricey maybe but there a very good clutch.Simon from YVS who fitted mine has the same clutch and it'll be onto its 3rd season of drag racing and still going strong(i think his cars in the region of 500bhp).If your mates done a GT4 then i...

Re: Clutch slipping, uprating advise

I have the Helix race setup and i've only had it in 4 days and i can't fault as yet, peddle feel is very light a little aggresive at first but that was coming from using a standard clutch for 6 years.

Standard boost control seloniod. You usually disconnect this when using either a manual or electronic boost controller, although from memory it should be blocked i think.
