Stock front wheel studs - length??? Mines mysteriously changed size!
Can anyone please confirm the length of stock front wheel studs? Background - I changed all 20 stock wheel studs to longer ones a few years back during the transition from road car to track car. However!!! I have recently just noticed that that one corner (passenger side front) has miraculously morp...

Looks great mate. I'm not a fan of the number plate surround personally, but it does look great. Well done!

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
Yeah it's been a long drawn out road for many reasons. However, the car is running again - and that's the main thing.

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
Didn't realise it was September that I last updated this.
Long story short, car still isn't mapped and it's still with Peter.
Hoping to have it home very soon pending the outcome of one issue.

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
Been a while since my last update. And I've still not got much to report (just now!) as the car isn't finished! Very briefly, for now, an engine related issue was encountered after the car was started for the first time which resulted in the car going back down to Peter. He's had it for 4 week...

Peter Gidden @ Sbits - TBC
First of all I have to admit, I completely forgot about this section of the forum, however I will be giving detailed feedback about Peter @ Sbits as I have been dealing with him since 2014 in the planning and subsequently building of my 5SGTE engine. The car is back with Peter at the moment (issues ...

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
Not great... Dropped the car off on Monday as agreed verbally on the phone two weeks ago. I was told at the time I booked it on the phone that there was 18 cars on the list and today (Wednesday 16th August) was the first available slot on the dyno, so obviously I agreed to take that slot. I was also...

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
Been a while... Car is back home. Not 100% finished, but close. Mapping has been booked and cancelled twice already for various reasons. However, I am due to get a base map on the car this week all going to plan, but I've got a feeling something is going to go wrong and I'll have to reschedule mappi...

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
What the hell?! It's actually starting to look like it might run! I hope so mate as I'm dying to get out in it over the summer but xxxx knows. Losing the will to live with it the now if I'm honest. There's days I love it and actually get excited about it, and then there's days I could soak it in pe...

Re: 5S - Second engine rebuild required already!!!
That's the current state of play at the moment. The exhaust guy took a lot longer than first quoted, which meant it knocked my schedule with Peter. It was agreed that I'd pick it up 22nd May which would have given Peter 2 weeks to finish fuel system, some wiring and a few other bits and bobs. Howeve...
