Okay, tried it again and hose on bleed valve - pump is whirring but no water circulating.
I hate bringing my car to a garage and paying for stuff like this that I should be able to sort myself - but, looks like it is going to have to be a garage

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] which charge cooler pump?
I swapped out that pump from Chargecooler.co.uk and put in a Bosch Cobra. Much bigger pump.
But, mine is still not circulating
What pump have you got at the moment ? Where have you got it located ?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Gaz's low rise pop up lights
I think they look excellent. I bought GTO lights months ago to hopefully make low-rise lights but they are still sitting in the shed. What lights did you use ??? width wise, they look to fill the 7" width of the stock shroud ? Did you use Rogue "arms" to get the height right ? Are the...

Re: Help, please - ST205cc !
You'll need to employ the same solution with the rad bleed valve as you do when bleeding the car - i.e. stick a clear hose on it and selotape it up high somewhere so the coolant level can rise to the same height as the core. Now, that I think of it, I originally had the hose to the rad bleed valve ...

Re: Help, please - ST205cc !
Yeah, just thinking about it - what is the point of having a core x cm high if my water was only covering x/2 cm  On the rad bleed valve, I had a small bolt in it. It probably won't be until tomorrow evening until I get out to it again. Actually, never use the jack method - will give that a sh...

Re: Help, please - ST205cc !
Sorry - just getting back to this now. I had the pump below http://www.chargecooler.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69&products_id=184 But, it wasn't circulating. So, I got a Bosch Cobra pump and fitted it yesterday. A lot heftier http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s41/rwilson_i...

Re: DESPERATELY SEEKIN BORDER STYLE FRONT BUMPER/BODYKIT
I have a Border front from Replikit and the fitment was great - you just need to dremel to fit the lights. AFAIK, there was the old Replikit who bought in a lot of kits, some crap. And now, they make in-house. Another option is http://www.staffsmr2kits.co.uk/ Now, he doesn't do Border fronts but SAR...

Help, please - ST205cc !
Can anyone tell me which way the water flows in/out of the cc core ?
At the moment, looking from the passenger side, I have it plumbed thinking the pipe on the right is the one which is where the water exits from the CC Core. Is this correct ?
TIA
Rob

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 4"x6" headlights - do they exist ???
I suppose - even if we can only get lower wattage bulbs, we would use a set of 30/35w bayonet style.
Then, have both on all the time, so low beam would be 60w and high beam 70w. Thats near enough to 55/60w

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 4"x6" headlights - do they exist ???
He told me they take a standard bayonet type bulb doesn't have to be H4 though ,just need to change the fitment on the wire end ,After all motorbikes have main beam and dipped the same as a car the sidelight bulbs wouldn't be needed so just block off the hole with a grommet, for £20 i might buy one...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 4"x6" headlights - do they exist ???
They look nice and so does the price
He says it comes with 12v/25w hi/lo beam and a spare 6v/25w bulb.
For a car, i guess we would need a H4 on each side for hi/low and a H7 for an extra beam ?
I Googled the 12v/25w and it doesn't seem to be the H4 style bulb.
So, might not be an option

Hi Mate The GTO light look good in the 3rd pic. What are the motorbike lights you have tried in the pics ? I take it the bike headlights will use H4 bulbs ? You've certainly looked at a lot of options ! I like some of the bike lights - just emailed this place to check the height and depth. Do the sa...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 4"x6" headlights - do they exist ???
Okay, am only starting to get the lights out now and look at the GTO light option. But, I have a question - the GTO lights are 4"x6" - so, they will be slightly narrow to fill the width of the stock headlight housing. So, the Hella 550's are approx 3.75" x 7.69" - they just about...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] what fuel pressure regulator?
I wouldnt recommend a FSE regulator. I assume your aiming for high HP with 1150cc's? to which you would need at least a bosch 044 which flow 302lph (5.03 lp/m) so that puts the FSE right on its limit. spend a little extra and get one of these.. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AEI-13101/ Is that p...

Re: Distributorless Ignition (COP) for Power FC/Gen3 ECU
Okay, I am going back to very basics and have a few questions, if you don't mind. On a stock MR2, the distributor fires to each spark plug ? So, it is purely a mechanical process ? no ECU involvement ? And in this COP setup, each COP is connected back to where ? to the sequential box you provide ? a...

Re: Distributorless Ignition (COP) for Power FC/Gen3 ECU
Hey Jimmy
Would you have any more pics where you can see more of the engine bay ?
I was just wondering if I can go for this kit, while having the ST205 CC fitted ?
And, what is the Euro price ?
Also, what settings need to be changed on the PFC ?
Thanks
Rob

If its a gen2, you'd get 2nd degree burns - and you get 3rd degree burns on a gen3.
Bad joke, sorry
