Ooooo - good point about the accident with no helmet!
Yeah... the british summer time driving would be on the road.

Re: Grrr.... someone just killed my Mk1
Bad luck Jon - the important thing is that you two are ok!
On the plus side too... good job it was the old "runaround" car and not the mk2!

[Mk2] [Turbo] Mk2 Roll Cage - with working T-Bar
Hi all - I'm currently doing some research to see if it is possible to get a safe roll cage fitted to my MR2 without actually losing the benefits of the t-bar. I've read the other threads and see that Rogue's doesn't fit and some other ones that provide the rear "loop", but then I wonder a...

Re: Toyota sprint series Teesside (Dark) round 5
Simon - you'll have to be careful this time... you spun last time here, leaving the door open for for the rest of us - remember! Seriously though - good luck with this one... it'd be nice to see an MR2 beat the "big boys" in A1! By they way, mine's just been MOTd... bound to be quicker, ri...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] controllable power steering??
I've had my power steering fuse or relay or whatever break down - the steering was ridiculously heavy. Disabling your powersteering, but leaving the powersteering rack in place with all the fluids isn't the answer. I've also though about replacing the power steering with a non-powered rack... but I ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] mk2 wheel sizes
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the stock wheel dimentions?
I know the mk2 is on 15", but what width front and rear and what offset... and anything else relevant?
Cheers,
Christian

You did the respray yourself? My car could do with a full respray - how'd you do it without proper bodyshop oven etc - how much did it cost?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wheels
Thanks for the details Matt - that's just what I was looking for. Where's a good place to look our for 2nd hand MR2 specific ones? Andy: I'd definitely be interested in a look at your wheels when they come up for sale. Are you able to send me any pics / details now (in anticipation?). Cheers, Christ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Wheels
Right, my wheels appear to be ovular! I've had them for a long time and across a few cars - they've taken a few hits too so probably about time I got something new! I'd be interested to know your thoughts on a good quality wheel manufacturer or any specific wheels for my car. I'm thinking 16" 5...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Engine Upgrades
Thanks for the info chaps! Hmmm - I was hoping that 300 @ wheels wouldn't be too expensive, but I gather from what you're saying is that it could well go 'bang' if I don't uprate some other bits too! This will be a long term project I think - certainly don't have the funds to do it in one go. 300 is...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine Upgrades
Hi all, I'm sure this question has never been asked before! What's the best route to get more power from your tubby? I'm planning on doing some work over a period - maybe starting this year. I'm thinking I want initially 300bhp at the wheels - but eventually 400! Oh, and it needs to be reliable. The...

---SOLD---
Well, the car is now sold. Not a load of MR2 community interest but the first chap to see it bought it - always worth preparing them nicely! Oh, and a FSH helps.
Anyway - maybe he'll join one of the clubs - I suggested that he should.

Agreed... something like that. It is a good place to showcase some cars! Earl's car is obviously a very interesting car - made a good read - but there must be others out there!

Red 1995 Mk2 Rev3 T-Bar n/a
Hi all, The time has come to sell my MR2. I've advertised in on PistonHeads, so you can get some pictures on there: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/246609.htm I'm asking £3000, but feel free to come round for a look and make me an offer. This car has run reliably for my two years of ownership and h...
