I aint too fussed if the bumper is sitting lower than the skirts but do see your point. Border skirts would have probably sat around right level but don't look as nice in my opinion.
One good thing is the indent in the front bumper matches the one on the skirts, which makes it look less mix'n'match.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Front bumper and skirts fitted/sprayed pics
Its an infan8 front bumper made by a company in Coventry, don't think they are around anymore and they only made a couple.
Am well chuffed with the look of car now, just gotta be careful over the speed bumps as it sits quite low.

Not sure wether i prefer the addtional splitter or not yet, does look nice when colour coded. I haven't got one so will have to be happy without.

The top bit is similar the standard bumper with no fogs where as the bottom is more aggressive as it sits lower and has a nice shape to it.
Have to take it easy over the speed bumps now thou.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] where to Buy Alloys
I got mine from http://www.dp-motorsport.co.uk/ they also have an ebay shop. I went for what they call the sabre cruize (i've found them to be called "ruff racing" and are an american make i think). Check out my garage for pics, i paid slighty more to get falcon rubber instead of an unknow...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] spot the modification
Its pretty easy to remove side stripes and paint them i did it on a 91 uk model i had a while back. As far as i can remember the door ones are just glued on and the one above the vent is bolted on as is the one on the front wing. I would try and source some already in the colour you want of a later ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Quietest aftermarket exhaust
My berk exhaust with cat still in place isn't too loud.
Do a search on youtube for mr2 exhaust and you get to see video clips of them is my advice.

Re: Mr2's at santa pod on sunday may 11th
I was in the sun getting burnt mine was in the parking area i'm afraid. Was tempted to run as not many people were going up and could have got a few goes.
What times were you running i seem to remember a black one getting mid to low 13's. Think a red one also got a late 12.

Alloys were from ebay from dp motorsport and the border front is in my shed awaiting a test fitting when i get round to it. As for side skirts i'm currently after some new ones cuz the border ones i had were bad fit.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Iridium tipped spark plugs - any good?
I got denso iridium IK22 in mine and i'm pretty happy with them. Or your ngk ones are NGK..BKR7EIX i believe.
I'd get them from sparkplugs.co.uk as they have good prices :
NGK BKR7EIX approx £29 delivered
DENSO IK22 approx £38 delivered

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev4 turbo 1 aston martin db9 nil
I ain't denying he would have been faster on a long stretch of road, just that he must have felt pretty stupid trying to make me race so he could prove he was quicker. When it ended up in clouds of white smoke coming out the back. Also to add to mrtee's stats i think the aston does a standing 1/4 in...

[Mk2] [Turbo] rev4 turbo 1 aston martin db9 nil
Had an aston martin db9 speeding up behind me earlier today, so decided to open up the mr2 and show him what these jap cars can do. I flicked onto high boost setting and nailed it upto approx 80mph when i looked in mirror to see the db9 still close behind but now throwing out clouds of white smoke. ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev4 Turbo what de-cat? or gutted cat?
I wasn't planning on doing the work myself after reading what an awkward job it can be. Was gonna get someone like skywalker to do it as he had a post up a little while ago saying £80 to fit downpipes. Just gotta decide on which one to go for, think the berk looks a pretty impressive bit of kit, and...
