Re: Best time to change gearbox oil?
Six and two threes. I recently swapped my box oil a couple of times after the driveshaft sheared. I'd just make sure its warm and if your worried, get a magnetic sump plug. Re: Rust and The SW20
Nah the reason the rust reappeared is because I stupidly tried to jack on the sills years ago and they just caved in.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t9/vishpish/IMG_0965.jpg fixed with http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t9/vishpish/IMG_0964.jpg I would definitely do it properly if the rust was structurally unsafe. Problem is I did 4 years ago but the rust came back and I just can't justify wasting money on it....

Re: Rear subframe removal
socket your probably talking about is an Irwin. they are good but if youve got access to a welder, your idea is probably cheaper and easier. weld a nut on and crack the whole thing off

Re: Kumho V70A tyres on stock 15" wheels ?
x2 on not being budget! you thinking 195/50 and 225/50? in which case thats over 500 notes! i run the ad08s and find they grip really well wet or dry. the kumhos are actually track day tyres not like the r1rs/ad08s which are marketed as trackday performance but can be daily driven. guess it depends ...

Awesome! I'll second Marf on the AD08s. Now on my second set albeit on my daily - a Lupo Gti. At £82 a tyre for me theyr pretty cheap compared tho. Heres my 50p Dry - Warm conditions - They are unbelievably grippy. Wet - The worst rain, flooding, wet weather - Extremely predictable. Yeah ok its a fw...
