Re: CLOSED - 2nd Aeroware Polyurethane Front Splitter Buy

I'll take the extra one if it's an Areoware and still available? :)

Gleaming Red MK1 - Marvellous

The comedy/documentary "Marvellous" (Still on BBC iPlayer - well worth a watch) outside the Stoke City ground on a couple of occasions. Must have been an enthusiasts car? http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n74/kgbrisc1/marvellous1_zps20b90eba.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n74/kgbr...

Nice one!

Use that road as part of an alternative to the mundane work traffic boredom between Willenhall and Brownhills. Looked a nice example :thumleft:

Red Rev3 Essington/Cannock again

Beeped me at the junction of the A462 towards the M6 and Broad lane tonight, second time I've seen you. Don't know if its anyone on here or not. I was in the Red Rev3 turbo with Rev5 wing.

Re: M20 OMG

Guilty as charged. Cheers for the kind words chaps. I'm currently in the process of stripping it out and hopefully in a year or two am going to start competing in hill climbs with it. Got the Clio due to the MR2 having some mechanical issues (knackered synchro on 3rd and possible suspension damage ...

Re: rev2 turbo empty bay rev2 or rev3 replacement

Cambelt water pump clutch fluids budgeted for. Is a oil pump essential then ? Not essential, but I didn't know the history of the engine so deemed it a necessary service item whilst the engine was out, for peace of mind as I said :) Bottom end checked at the same time too and all Tickety boo :thuml...

Re: rev2 turbo empty bay rev2 or rev3 replacement

Don't forget to factor in the cost of the usually overlooked items like cambelt kit, oil pump, water pump, fuel pump, gearbox sender, fluids, if needed etc. Added circa £500 to my Rev3 turbo conversion (for peace of mind) in total that I never budgeted for originally.

Re: Anyone familiar with the HKS EVC4?

Three boost outputs on that screen Max - i.e. Peakhold Current - Boost/vacuum now Set - Desired boost level All the brand name Japanese boost controllers function as a boost gauge too. They have their own pressure which is used to both display and respond to boost levels. :cyclops: Which is which? ...

Re: Anyone familiar with the HKS EVC4?

The EVC is a boost gauge  The early models have "monitor" mode and the later models incorporated a boost gauge into the standard display output. Yes, but from what I can gather it only reads boost as an offset of what it thinks is stock? So the numbers are meaningless to me! Looks l...

Worst I had was 4mpg out of the V6 on a trackday  HM i could achieve this im my 300zx twin tubby as well, it was brutal on fuel, although, my rx8s were about the same when having some fun, not even on a track too  It was a sprint circuit (curborough) so spent 95% of the time in 2nd at 6...

Anyone familiar with the HKS EVC4?

I've had one fitted to my Rev3 turbo and it has been setup to simply run at a slightly increased boost level which we think is circa 0.9 to 1.0 bar. I don't have an aftermarket boost gauge yet, which is on my shopping list for next month, but I'd appreciate any tips on setting it up when I get one a...

It was fun doing it!

Averaged about 22mpg and the best I got was 35 driving at 60mph behind a lorry for 3 hours. It's always run a bit rich!
