Re: Rolling Road Day @ Weston Performance

Just spoke to them, Saturday 15th November is available and for 15 cars the price is £45. If we can get near 20 they will drop the price to £40. Got about 6 interested already and i'll organise the running order before the day so we can arrange it so people can just turn up for the morning or aftern...

Rolling Road Day @ Weston Performance

I'll see if i can get something organised for mid November. Would anyone be interested before i ring em and ask for prices? Would be nice to see what the V6 is making before i get a few tasty mods done like my piggyback ECU. No prices as yet but i'll organise something if there is enough interest. W...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] V6 Weapon

might be a stupid question, but what are the fannymoulds??? i always though it was the plastic thing that bolts to the forward head, going back over the inlets? or am i being stupid! Yes you are being stupid #-o Haha - Manifolds mate - the inlet manifolds on the V6 are absolutely pathetic! Re: [Mk2] [NA] V6 Weapon

Good choice going for the v6 you wont regret it! Arent the turbo boxes higher reving though, you mention you kept it for the fuel economy but Ive heard the revs are up at 4k at 80mph? Ive got the NA gearbox and still find it a bit high reving but there is so much power constantly on tap. Always put...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] V6 Weapon

Im convinced :) Although do I ask for a supercharged one if I can find one? :-k So, can I hear it popping when you let off the gas? Power from low down to red line? It pops and bangs all the time  The vid doesn't do it justice tbh - it's a joy to even start it up. Not sure my neighbours agree...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] V6 Weapon

Up yours Rowland  Yeah tubby box to V6 - gonna be a high mileage V6 so i wanted the extra ratio to keep my fuel economy. It's loud - and i mean VERY loud at the moment but i'll be looking for some bungs for the Japspeed exhaust for long journeys. It's not built for the 1/4 mile - just something...

The extra road is not on/off the island, it is a return road to the main road and has been earmarked for the field right behind where we were all camping as the only road to the site currently is through a farm and quite narrow. Bring on next year - and i vote for Superheroes - then i don't have to ...
