Re: Has anyone else found a tubby can be very eco friendly?

I've just had a Rev3 tubby conversion from a UK spec Rev1 N/A, and my mpg has increased, even running the same journey into work and back and booting it, with mild breathing mods and upped boost. Re: Boost leak on Rev 3 turbo

that's your blow off valve opening slightly mate, take it off and try another :thumleft: this happens when you're on boost with the throttle partially open. i'm about 90% on this :thumleft: :thumleft: EDIT: forgot to say, if this isn't the cause of your boost problems, then chances are it's control...

Boost leak on Rev 3 turbo

Hi everyone, Can you confirm our suspicions of a boost leak and where to start looking? From about 1/2 way through this video you can hear it. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n74/kgbrisc1/Theos/th_Turbo_zps034d5bac.jpg I'm also having a problem whereby the car seems to lose power intermittently, ...

Re: 3 Today, Kerry Foods, A456 and cleobury mortimer.

Saw a heavily modified flip paint MK2 coming out of Broombank on the A456 heading toward Kidderminster, then a green mk2 with Autopista rear spoiler parked up at the Kerry foods factory not far from Tenbury Wells, and the veilside kitted blue 2 on the main drag through Cleobury Mortimer. Anyones on...

Re: Japshow Finale 2009. Sunday 4th October. Santa Pod

If you have a Rain-Off ticket from last year you will not get a stand pass - unless you have posted it off to Donna @ Santapod already. A Rain-Off ticket on the Day will get you a £10 discount on your ticket price as far as i have been told, but NO stand pass. We still have advance tickets and show ...

Re: How much petrol once the light comes on?

i only put a tenner in at a time, less fuel=lighter car, or lighter rear end , which means more control and less fuel consumption!! Except the tanks in the middle of the car between the two seats   Managed 45 miles from when the light came on when the car was on the flat - chickened out a...

Re: Help! Engine Dead

I'm thinking the coil is firing but just not delivering enough spark. New plugs and Leads too so i know they are fine. I'm going to check the AFM too to make sure that's not stuck closed. It's somewhat reassuring when you can check engine codes, but when you can't even do that it's a bit frustrating...

Help! Engine Dead

Hoping someone could give me some advice (so i can get to JAE!!) (3VZ-FE by the way) Recently the CEL kept on coming on and flagging code 55 (front bank knock sensor). Checked the wiring and it was shot so repaired it. Took it for a spin but still flagged the code. Filled up with 95 RON (I had previ...
