drive shaft seal?
could anyone tell me the part no. for the drive shaft oil seal on a rev 3 turbo please, as toyota were not a great deal of help and werent sure what i wanted? pic below

cheers for the reply, i have tried winding the piston all the way back in then out 180 several times now and it just does not seem to work. everything seems ok the mecanism seems free as i can move it by hand slightly. on looking at the cables though the nearsied cable is way slacker than the other ...

nice looking blue mr2 flashed headights at me heading towards the beacon. Had clear rear lights i think.didnt react fast enogh to flash back as its a rare sight to see an mr2 driver wave or anything.

ahh ok, so you dont need oil that states its for cars whith lsd. reason i ask is that i have got a lot of oil in my garage which is 80 90 but states not for cars whith lsd, so would i be able to put this in? sorry if i am sounding dumb but dont know much about lsd and gearboxes

correct me if i am wrong but the oil in that link is not for lsd boxes crx 80 90 if you click back there is another one caled crx LS 80 90. just thaught i would point it out

i had kumhos on my 2 and they where a nightmare in the wet. i now have falken 451 all round and think they are far superior.

thanx for the advice, i think i am going to replace it. i have taken the piston out and it has some nasty marks in it and i need to replace the rubber anyway. also on taking the piston out a lot of brake fluid came out from behind the piston should this happen as i thaught the seal behind the piston...

may be a silly question but how does the piston come out does it just turn out and back in will i have to drain the brake fluid?
