Is that the same parts for imports/turbos and NA's?
Eg: the later ones would be the chap for my Rev3 turbo ?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Are all SW20 brake calipers the same?
Looking to get a set of recon'd calipers for the front and AMK are giving me the following part numbers: TCA2165 TCA2166 They say that these will fit "all" SW20's from 1991-99 irrelevant of import, revision or being turbocharged. Just wondering if this is the case? Many thanks folks, Rikki

[Mk2] [Turbo] Heatwrapping IC Pipes - good / bad?
Hi folks, Been meaning to post this Q for a while. Down at TOTB nearly every MR2 competing had their IC pipes wrapped in exhaust heat shielding like this: http://hometown.aol.com/u1a4re/MR2TurboTOMSKit/photos/photo10.jpg http://hometown.aol.com/u1a4re/MR2TurboTOMSKit/photos/photo10.jpg I was wonderi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 3rd gear 5000rpm BANG BANG BANG :( - Video included
Called Dastek up and they seem to agree its boost creep causing the fail safe to kick in. Since I got the remap in July I'd taken all the IC pipes off, replaced silicone hosing that had a tear/slit in it and replaced all the clips with far better ones so there is a good chance when it was mapped in ...

Boost controlled by Unichip, last remapped on rollers in July where I was shown that my boost gauge is a nice looking toy.
Does boost (or is it fuel) cut feel like hitting the rev limiter? I've never had it happen before, had the Unichip on for 3 years now :S

My Fùcking MR2 by Rikki Chapter 19 "3rd gear, foot down, 5000rpm BANG!" Here's a new problem I just added to my list, driving along, plant the foot and comes on boost, revs go up, gets to about 5000rpm then the rev counter goes epileptic and bounces erratically for half a second between 35...

Re: [All] [Turbo] ECU mappers in Scotland....
There are VERY FEW places Id take my car for work and Dastek are definately on that list. They've worked on my MR2 since I got it in 2004 and never had a problem with them, in fact the only issue I'd say about them is that they are TOO careful when tuning LOL. I'd a million problems with my car each...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Berk IC - replacement silicone and clamps
Ive already got a Berk (one of the first to get one from Chris) but the silicone pipes are starting to rip at the ends (and thats with common hose clips) so I wanted to replace the lot before they really die. and I believe Ive got a boost leak at the moment so want to be doubly sure.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Berk IC - replacement silicone and clamps
Hi folks, Just wondering if anyone knew if GTSChris or anyone else sells replacement silicone pipes for the Berk IC. I didnt want to pester him directly as I know he's mega busy with things so thought I'd ask the general public first. Also, what size of clamps are used in the kit (and the rest of th...
