Is it possible to remover the head, keep bottom end in to replace/remove the pistons on the rev3 engine?
I have seen articles about it but have all so far been on the rev1s and 2s which have a huge sump plate.

throttle position sensor, i'll go check as i have the AVCR it tells you how many % its at, maybe that will tell me something

which way does the plumbing go? i currently have the bottom of the pump to the bottom of the rad, im not sure which way it goes on the core though :S
if someone could tell me the order in which to plumb it in it would be muchly appreciated

lol realy sorry guys, ok, i start the car and the ignition timing on the power fc reads 40 and there is lots of tapping from the engine. i let it idle for a few minutes and the timing drops back down to 10 and the tapping disappears. what component would i have to replace to stop this from occurring

hello! i want to upgrade the turbo in my MR2 and im thinking about a gt28 or a t3/4 turbo. now im having two problems: 1 will getting the correct oil lines and fitting them be a pain 2 will i still be able to use the st205 CC seeing that the adapter flange will make the spacing about 1 1/2 inches fu...

phew! dont need all the head work afterall, the timing was off and when it went back to idling it was fine and no tapping. so i think i need new ignition components, any idea why the ignition timing would stick? its supposed to idle at 10-14 but it was stuck at 40 and jumps back down to 10 but takes...

hmmm... well its a tap and increases with engine speed. i'd hate to think it was something else other than the valvetrain

its a pig to remove on the rev3 as the two bolts attach to the head on the intake manifold side. Is muchos hard to get a spanner down there

guys, im in the middle of doing the install on my rev3 and the engine hanger that is next to the dizzy cap is causing me nightmares as its stopping the CC from lining up and piping up.
Can anyoone help me here as all the pictures are with the cooler on and no hanger to be seen in sight
