Spacers and wide arch kit
I'm thinking about buying a set of wide arches for the mk2 but I currently run the standard size alloys. Whats the crack with spacers, what sizes will I need? Any where I can get them? Any info would be appreciated. These are the arches I'm looking at... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mr2-turbo-Ablug-Wide-Ar...

I might try and attend this. My old man is in the RAF anyway so I'll have a word and see if he fancies it in his Tiger.

I've knocked 2 seconds off my 0-60!
Cut the boot floor out and just stapled my super rare rubber mat in. Saved me loads of weight

Re: Getting bored....
Just my thoughts...... some will not agree which is understandable. I've decided that running mine everyday was too expensive and more than likely make me loose my license. (already have 6 points) All i do now is use it for track days from march to october. I dont pay any insurance, tax, £££'s on pe...

Re: Toyo R888 (what size to get for the rears?)
Hi guys thanks for the comments. I just checked my rears and I am infact running a 50 not a 45 on the back.
With my rears only being a 7j I think I'll take the advice and stick to the stock 225 size.
Thanks a lot
Karl

Toyo R888 (what size to get for the rears?)
Hi all, I currently have toyo r888's fitted all round. The rears are 225/45/15's and now need changing over. My rear wheels are a 7j. Do I go the same again or try the new 235/50/15? Will there be any noticeable difference? I know the latter are a higher profile so flex may become an issue but I'm a...

Re: car weighed today
I've just stripped all the carpets out of mine. Rear fire wall, cubby box, speakers, boot carpet, aerial, frunk stuff, spare wheel. Still have the standard seats in at the mo so they'll get changed for Cobra Suzuka's. Also put in a 6 point cage which isn't exactly light but it does feel like its sti...

Re: Anyone bought this border kit?
Yeah it looks ok to be fair. He said £210 for skirts and bumper. I think i'll take him up on that offer.
I have the spats and a bomex drift spoiler ready.
Should look good once its all on.

Anyone bought this border kit?
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/992398.htm I emailed him asking what fitment was like and he said the skirts and front bumper are spot on with no sanding required. He's never had complaint apparently and been selling them for years. Kit looks ok in the pics.. Tempted but i don't crappy fitment ones.

Re: Need help with wheel size and offsets
LOL anastasios ! Well i currently have 205 50 15 and 225 50 15 and running R888 semi slick tyres. I've been messing around with the tyre pressures and got them much higher than i started with. I had major tyre wall flex before but that seems to have been sorted now. I see toyo now do an r888 tyre as...

Re: Need help with wheel size and offsets
Cheers for the replies lads.
One thing though, I am using the car as a track car and have heard 16" wheels are the optimum size.
Whats about a 16" wheel with a 245 tyre on the back plus a spacer?
Would that work?
Cheers

Need help with wheel size and offsets
I'm considering buying a set of 16" alloys but also looking to get some wheel arch extensions for my rev3 tubby. Obviously the exisiting wheel arch lip will need cutting. What I have no clue about is what offsets I need. Also i see alloys for sale that are 'staggered'. I'm not too sure what tha...

Slicks
Considering putting slicks on my car as I'm purely using it as a track car so won't be running it on the road. Anyone know where the best place to buy part worn slicks from? I've got a 6 point cage now so track days should be ok. I'm currently running 225 50 15's and 205 50 15's (r888) Thanks in adv...

I need to know my paint code
I've just bought some border spats, skirts and a bomex drift spoiler and need to get them sprayed red. I've got a rev 3 tubby.
Did they do more than one red? If so, how do i find out what paint code it has?
Thanks in advance
