The couplers are probably crap, but the rest of the kit is ok. You will be wanting a body side shroud as well. Forces air through the IC. http://www.gtschris.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=141 Berk has a 1 piece cold pipe. lets you ditch an elbow and a couple couplers/clamps. http://www.b...

Thanks to GottaGoturbo
Been looking for a hand commander for my PFC and he came through with one. Was nice enough to stop 15 minutes from my house so I could pick it up from him. Really nice guy.

You can also try:

Before you replace the seals, it may be worthwhile to install new eccentric rod pockets (63284-17030) or eccentric rod guides (63283-17040)

Don't think NGK makes a 8 heat range in that plug.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aftermarket intercooler on stock set up?
Cheers Dale :thumleft: Decided to keep this one pretty much standard, performance wise. Think my only mod now will be to change the Apexi N1 for a Japspeed/Motoria exhaust as I prefer the twin exit exhausts. And that's it :thumleft: A valid point sir :D If you want a dual exit exhaust that is fairl...

I haven't used Ryan 2bartuning but the car I bought from JimGTS was mapped by him. The dyno plot is faultless and the car drives fantastic. when it comes time for upgrades and a remap i am def. going to see him.

Thanks for the info. Just thought it was strange that US and UK MKIIs had a dimmer and JDM cars don't.

Both lamp assemblies can be purchased from the states for that price(minus shipping of course)
Brand new, OEM and including harnesses.
Side marker lenses aren't that expensive either.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone with a tubby with a mongoose exhaust?
Depends if you decat or not in my experience - mine didnt get the "motorway drone" as already mentioned on this thread until I decatted the system. on idle it does have a nice sound its not overly loud but will (and I guess this is the resonance bit thats again has already been mentioned)...

I can confirm 100% that the Rev1 is cable driven. Rev2+ cars had electric speedos.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone with a tubby with a mongoose exhaust?
I have a completely different view of the mongoose. The one I had droned extremely. I couldn't stand to drive the car, it hurt my ears/head so much. It wasn't very loud, but the resonance that it produced was terrible. I switched to a Berk exhaust and wouldn't use anything else on a turbo. I don't c...
