Economy button will cause the AC to cycle on and off more often. Mainly for fuel savings.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] nur spec too loud

I swapped from a Nur Spec to a Berk. The Nur Spec was far to loud for me to deal with.

Far to loud for my tastes. I swapped it out for Berk and couldn't be happier.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nervous front end at high speed.

With the front undertrays and wheel liners missing the whole front end of the car is acting like a wing.

I can tell a huge difference between my 92 with all undertrays installed and my 90 thats missing the front lower piece.

From the size of the piston shafts they look like Ohlins

I imagine that the lack of front undertrays and wheel liners are the primary cause for your issues.

Re: forlife colours

Why are folks so stuck on the "for life" coolant? The BGB never states to use it, and I prefer to replace my coolant every year anyhow. I do know thats its a bad idea to mix the For Life type with regular anti freeze http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanical/volume1/cooling_system/Manual_0507...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nervous front end at high speed.

Just pull the fuse for the PAS and take it for a spin, you'll know then if its causing your issues.

Do you have all the fwd undertrays and wheel liners fitted?
How about the top cover over the rad?

[Mk2] [Turbo] MKII NA Speedo into MKII tubby cluster.

Just wanted to say that a MKII NA speedo works fine in a turbo gauge cluster.
I wanted to ditch the kph speedo with converter because it wasn't accurate.
The NA speedo is dead on when compared to my GPS.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Street Brawler kit or td06

EMail Berk and ask them about the GT3071. Its got good spool characteristics for a street car (similar to CT20 etc..) but will allow for much more HP now and will support higher HP when you decide to upgrade engine components.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Handbrake stuck. Need urgent help!!!!

Quickest way to release frozen cables is to remove the clip and pin holding the cable to the lever on the caliper.

I didn't think you would go to the trouble of installing an EGR system on a JDM motor.

^ fasteddy--did you fit a EGR setup to a JDM motor or did you just slap the ceramics powered plate on the intake?

Spray a good quality cable lube through the entire length of your new cables and repeat every other oil change. The cables should last nearly forever.

Spend a few bucks more and get a Berk Tech exhaust.

Mongoose on top/Berk on bottom. theres no comparison between the two.

[Mk2] [Turbo] For those looking for a APEXI PFC hand commander

I found this site http://www.greenline.jp/ that states they are able to procure hand commanders individually. This is the first company I have found that claims to be able to. Not sure if they can get them for MKII turbos, but if you send them the Serial number (not model number) of your PFC ECU the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 1 Piece Intercooler Pipes - worth it?

I have had the Berk one piece pipe on my car for quite a while. It was nice getting rid of a elbow/couplers/clamps. Heres one fitted to my 90MKII http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s182/86AW11/1990%20MR2%20Turbo/London2008027.jpg One on my 92 http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s182/86AW11/1992%20MKI...
