OK, that works quite well if the shipping cost isn't too bad, should be possible for £30. Could you check and if you can do the lot for £130 shipped to me I'll buy them

+1, Goodridge hoses on 3 xMR2's with never a problem. Just a thought, if the hose seems tight, you can adjust the clamp position by sliding it along the hose...

fuel
Best way is to brim the tank, drive a good distance and brim it again. Going by the gauge or warning light isn't that reliable. I can do 30-40 miles in the MR2 from the light coming and staying on but the GT4 is out of fuel almost immediately

Fuel
This issue is really much affected by the right foot but 170 miles does seem quite low. Mine's fairly standard and gives 250 miles with normal mixed road driving and up to 300 on the motorway at 'normal' motorway speed. On the track probably 7-8 mpg if its anything like the gt4!!

E153 it is so the reference I read must have related to aftermarket conversions to a quaife diff on rev 5's.
Anyway, does anyone have a recommendation for rebuilds in the midlands?
Thanks

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 5 turbo gearbox
After months trying to sort a high revs gearchange issue I've reached the point where its better than it was but still not good enough. The box probably needs rebuilding or replacing to really solve the problem. I believe that the rev5 has a Torsen LSD so I guess the chances of finding another 'good...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Strange Gearbox/Clutch Issue
Just a thought, I had something a little like this on the st205 and it was the slave. I'd fitted a new one and it turned out there was a score mark in the bore that sometimes made it stick (and maybe also allowed some bypassing) One minute the clutch was fine, the next it either didn't engage or sli...

Gearchange
Linkages are fine, standard shifter and bearings fitted in place of rubber bushes. I suspect that the dragging clutch suggestion was mostly right but the reason behind it isn't really clear. By moving the bite point nearer to half pedal the change up at high revs is much much better but clearly any ...
