Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
Are there alternative suppliers for nuts and bolts with same specification as Toyota? I know that it would be tedious to compile a list, but part numbers and dimensions would help. Over the years I have lost a lot of these parts. Toyota bolts seem to be pricey for what they are, or am I behind the t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Steering fog lights - taken apart?
I have never seen any threads on this, but I'm interested if you get any info.
A plastic adjustment cog on the rear of the front fog light has cracked. I would like to know if there are any universal replacements?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Alternator issues - wrong one fitted?
Bought a factory jdm rev 2 turbo one and it doesnt fit. The mounting holes are too close together. Quick Google suggests there is 2 variations. 6mm difference in hole.spacing supposedly. So I'm looking to rebuild my old one now. Are you sure you bought the 100amp version? The 100amp version has the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Alternator issues - wrong one fitted?
My 1993 Rev2 Turbo came with a 100 amp alternator and oval plug.
If you have power steering, then I recommend you try and get the 100 amp version.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Electronic boot release
Hmmm I have a carbon fiber boot lid. I'm wondering if the original spring would put a lot of stress on the lid. That's why I like the idea of the gas springs opening the boot lid.

I installed a 5sfe oil pump on my 3sgte rev2 turbo. I did not machine any part, it bolted straight on first time.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Power steering
There is a fuse in the frunk which is marked ABS (even if your MR2 does not have ABS), it's also for the power steering. You might want to check that too.

I would have no hesitation in going to TDI UK if I had a F-CON.

TOM'S products do seem to be increasing in value. Like you have mentioned, they need a refurb and even then you need the "right" buyer.

I'm sure you can get adapters to fit a BOV like that in the stock location as well?
You probably can, but that's the way the Bailey kit was sold in its day. I think I purchased mine from Demon Tweeks.

Don't be tempted, you really need to have someone check the FCON out. You will kick yourself if it blows.
