Re: MR2 Floor mats - RHD - where to buy?

The one company that springs to mind is Autostyle. I have a set of their mats on my '2 and have had them in previous cars too.

Very good quality and not too bad on the price either, but I suspect the shipping my hurt a little for you.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] No Gears When Engine is Cold

Must admit it does sound like air in the hydraulics. The clutch can be a bit of a pain to bleed but stick at it :thumleft:

Re: blanking plates for ABS holes in hubs?

Hmmmm you migh want to now remove the paint from the mating surface of the hub flange otherwise you can't be sure of the wheel sitting flat to it when it's done up.....

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Chargecooler Bleeding Query

To a certain extent, you're quite correct. Instead you get what I can only describe as a bubbling/boiling effect lol. With the cap off, water was coming straight out of the core.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Chargecooler Bleeding Query

Any suggestions? Swap the pipes going into the charge cooler, sounds like you have them the wrong way round. Not to poo-poo that idea but I had mine the wrong way around for quite some time and it didn't have any effect on the flow or bleeding as such, just that when it did flow it was pushing the ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Chargecooler Bleeding Query

Im not seeing the whirlpool effect .... hence the query  That'll teach me to read the post properly won't it #-o It does sound like you have an airlock then. Have you tried blowing into the filler hole in the cc core with a pipe that completely seals the hole? That's what I do on mine as/when ...

Think you'll have to knock something up yourself as from memory, non ABS hubs had the hole cast over.

Re: BBK + ABS... Issue?

Thanks guys. Will investigate. No idea what a trigger wheel would look like, but will see if I can remove the caphead screw. We are talking about the bit immediately below the strut mounting points... Aren't we? Yes, that's the one I was refering to. Behind the cover should be basically a to...

Is that a blanking plate underneath that caphead screw in the middle of the hub? Looks like it might be to me....

Re: Seat belt tensioners suck

I have a strange problem with mine, they also don't retract well but when I open the door they zip in lol? That's how they're meant to work. The lever in the door opening relieves some of the spring tension so that when you're wearing the belt it's not tight on your neck/body (depending on how tall...

Re: Seat belt tensioners suck

Arn`t they second hand in every second hand car though ?? I`d get down the scrap yard . probably a fiver a side from my local if they have any in . Of course, but then I know that my car hasn't been in a 70mph head on crash :) Like I said, it's personal opinion, and for the money, it's not somethin...

Re: Seat belt tensioners suck

Personally I wouldn't use second hand, you're never totally sure of the history of the belt, if it's been in a crash etc.

They're not *too* expensive from Toyota if I recall. I replaced my drivers side one for the same reason last year and I'm fairly sure it was around the £40-50 mark.

Out of curiousity, why did you fit a plastic insert and not just tap the knob?

Good job though :)

I run the same plugs at the same levels of boost at 0.8mm gap with no issues at all. Just replace them once a year and all is well.
