Re: Should i buy it...Rev3 Turbo
I generally only buy fresh imports, because alot of people seem to use Normal unleaded or Super, instead of V-Power, which 'can' cause alot of wear and / or damage.

Should i buy it...Rev3 Turbo
Hi folks, Is the value of a Rev 3 Turbo really that low these days? Ive found one that my cousins been to see, its trade and the partner went away with the keys. Apparently it runs like a dream, with just a Jap exhaust being the only engine mod. Also has a set of wheels. The bodywork is in excellent...

Wait till summer and look at the faces of the tintop owners when you cruise past with the wind in your hair.
Tbar is the way to go.
I have no hair, plus, with all the extra drag and weight on the T-Top drivers car, i highly doubt he'll be 'crusing' past

Re: Service parts query, and stage 1/2 modding
When I had mine , I ran 1.3 bar for 6 months with no failure . Granted 1.15 may be a better bet. With regards to ringlands I feel its the same situation as evo 3s , run them on something other than v power and they'll suffer . It's the same with ceramic turbos , people Hey cheap or lazy and run them...

Re: Service parts query, and stage 1/2 modding
260 fwhp is fine for me.
Been down the road of spending ludicrous amounts on big power (had a 567 awhp Evo 3), rod went through the block within 2000 miles. Never again.
OK so chargecooler, full exhaust and boost upgrade i think ill do.

What year was it buddy ?
Also, do you know why you cracked the block and where did it crack?
I believe the ceramic doesnt hold up on uk fuel, better to use V power or better if possible, cooler EGTs

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev3 Turbo - Have you had serious mechanical failure

By this i mean cracked blocks, cracked cranks, holed pistons etc. Not something like headgasket failiure, or clutch wearing out, but serious things! When i say fairly standard, im talking full exhaust, I...
