Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
Had a look at her today, what a presence the car has about it. As said before photos don't do it justice and it's hard to get an idea of the shape when the car's not in one colour. I like the duck tail mate, really sets the back end off. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/UK_MRV6/tena_zpsujmy6ww...

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
I was over Paula's today and we had a long conversation about the car. Mate you have upped the ante. I like the F40 engine lid, the plans for the wide-wide body and your ideas for the rest of the car. All you have to do now is finish the bloody thing!

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
So you don't want to use the rear view mirror any more? Bold move! I'm with you on the spoilerless looks but the F40 lid
.? Nah. Don't get me wrong I love your work and admire the skills and professionalism on display but I think you're trying to gild the lilly so to speak, I'm still playing around...

Sorry mate, I've gone back to standard mk2 seats. My old bones are having a say in what seats I can and can't use.

Good question well asked. I'll get a 34 incher to have a sit in them. I'm a 32 inch and they are fine.

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
So I removed the entire exhaust system for final bracing and welding, it's quite sculptural to look at, or maybe I'm just a sad xxxxxx. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/paddy1970/Mobile%20Uploads/20170207_163931_zpsi7tn9nwv.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/paddy1970/Mobile%20Uploads...

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
Thanks, good to see someone is still following the build at least. People have died of old age following this thread. Great work on the Lotus abs ecu mate, looking forward to see it in action. Had a look the back end of the car and I have to admit it looks better without the rear wing. Never though...

Spruce up
While waiting for the supercharger install, I have spent some time sprucing up the engine bay on the old girl. The 2gr is not the most aesthetically pleasing on the eye. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/UK_MRV6/2GR-FE/4444_zpswb4aogof.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/UK_MRV6/2GR-FE/1...

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
Having a look today, the centre panel looks spot on mate as do the rev 3 lights. I would go with the pods/winglet things as they are, you can go too far and spoil the look. Get some paint on and see what they look like.
