Thanks for your help so far, we know now that there is air in system but we were unaware that it would cause this. The car is off road at mo so wont be cooking engine anytime soon. The car has been off road for some time due to new wings etc, is this the cause or has it not been done right by mrT at...

I understand when running car in normal conditions from cold the revs will be 2k-2.5k, then dropping to about 900 revs when warm. However, my dads 89 mk1b t-bar does not do this. What it is doing though is as normal when cold start but when it warms up the revs drop but go up again then down then up...

HI there where in fife are you i used to live in thornton near glenrothes and i owned a couple of twos when i was there my old man still lives in glenrothes and he owns a red 89 tbar which i sold to him in 99.

Hi there , just a thought it may not be the actual seal it may be the locating ( lug type hole things ) that the t-bar pins lock into ,i used to own a mk1b t-bar that leaked like the titanic every time it rained and i replaced these as they were very worn this did slow the flow to a mere drip, mrT u...

cheers ian, do you know where the welding is required ie, is it to the exhaust itself, i know the mounting brakets are different to the mk1,but i was unsure as to the actual joining of the down pipe or middle box to the mk2 box(es) also does anyone know if this mod affects performance in a good or b...

hi i recently saw a car on flea bay that was fitted with a mk2 back box,how was this done and how difficult would this be to do, it looked rather sexy,ive managed to get my grubby little hands on a genuine mrT backbox with middlebox and all brackets,cheers.
