As max said above it is so much more easyer to take caliper off and do it on the kitchen bunker :mrgreen:(what i did) the only thing with this is you then have to bleed the brakes system when you put them back on, what hasn't been mentioned though ...

Could be the wax stat After it warms up when the revs go up and down is it consistant ie does it go up down up down in time say every second or so or is it more random ? If it is very consistant it may well be wax stat BUT air in cooling system can also cause this but it will be more random this way .
