Re: MK2 Rev2 Turbo

I will they were both missing. I only gave it to the guy because it needed cleaning properly. Valves looked well seated but I think I'll give it a good going over before firing it up. Its taken me three years to get this far!

Thanks again

Re: MK2 Rev2 Turbo

Oh right! I had my head refurbished a year ago and they obviously decided it wasn't required as I haven't got one at all! Thanks for the pic and links they really helped. I was scratching my head for a while then.

MK2 Rev2 Turbo

Hi Everybody

I've been slaving away fitting a coolant pump only to find an oil leak from my inlet camshaft on the cam pulley end. I have removed the cam cover and the cap finding no seal just some channels and some pressed inserts in the bolt holes. Can anybody elaborate.

Thanks in advance

Ok I found where the plug goes thanks to the sunshine. on the starter motor there is a ring terminal that branches off with it. doesn't seem to go to ground are there two that go on the starter motor?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Anybody know a MR2 turbo engine wiring loom back to front?

Its got a black wire with a white trace going to it and it branches off the loom with an earthing ring terminal. I have tried looking at the PDF sticky and can find it on the loom run diagram on the enigine but cant find the colour combination on the engine sensor ip/op schematic with that wire colo...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Anybody know a MR2 turbo engine wiring loom back to front?

Ok nobody laugh. I took my MR2 apart 2.5 years ago and I am finally putting it back together. In that time I've lost my manual on CD and being tight wouldn't buy another one. Everything went back together really well apart from a little loom issue. I have a brown single spade connector left over and...

Had a look around but kind seem to find anything. I'm setting a 3SGTE from scratch and didn't take the engine apart. Aligned all the tangs pot marks but it doesn't look right. Any help appreciated.

Re: [Mk2 Generic] OK so I was wrong about Yellow being rare...

That`ll be my fault I work away alot so Im on a bit of a delay and a bit of a MR2 loner , I did a search for Bracknell and this thread came up. I see quite a few MK2`s in my area and I always give a wave or the "nod" aint even had one wave back! Misserable bleeders!

split rims

Is there a method to assembly ie Torque or checking for runout etc? There was sealant on them when I got them is there a certain type to use? They are 3 piece by Rays Engineering.
