Flat Battery
Hi everyone. Hope you can help. Tried to start my MR2 today only to find a flat battery. This has happened before. Should I just buy another - it is about 5 years old. Also, just to get it going can I jump start it? A friend of mine who has a classic TR6 says jump starting old cars with new ones can...

Engine Bay Cleaning
Hi. I'm wanting to have a bit of a clean up in the engine bay. Would anyone recommend any garages/individuals to do it or would you just recommend me just doing it myself? Not wanting to enter into concourse events. Just want it be be a good deal cleaner than it is now. I'm in the Berkshire area. Th...

Engine Cleaning
Hi everyone I'm wanting to get the engine bay/engine cleaned on my '88 T-Bar. Is this something you would all recommend? I've heard it can cause damage etc to electrical components/leads/wires. If you recommend it, where would anyone recommend I go? (I'm sure there are a load of valet cowboys out th...

Headlights
Hi Quick question. Does anyone know how to align the headlights? Not the beam - the actual lights themselves. When in the down position they aren't totally square to the bonnet. Not sure why one light in particular is like that. I don't think the car's been repaired there before - but I guess I'll n...

Another wheels question!
I'm in the process of changing my wheels to 15'' ones. The originals are 6'' wide and the new ones are 6.5'' wide. Will the wheel bolts be long enough to attach the nuts to with this new size? Does anyone know before I start this!! Help much appreciated.

Wheels question
Hi
I've just bought some 5-spoke 15'' Wolfrace Katanas for my Mk1. I'd like to replace the centre caps to get rid of the Wolfrace logo. I've seen Toyota logo stickers you can buy, that are designed for centre caps, but I'd rather have just 'MR2' written on there instead. Any ideas?

Re: MR2 mk1 Blue Gear Knob
Wow! I really started something here. Oh well, hopefully Rhon will sort out my faded knob - so to speak ... And for the record, I think my blue interior is pretty cool. It's definitely less popular, so therefore better (if you get my drift?

Re: MR2 mk1 Blue Gear Knob
Yes, of course they exist. You can't paint leather? All blue interiors have blue gear knob/gaiter, trim, seats, door cards etc.

MR2 mk1 Blue Gear Knob
Can anyone help or have any ideas where I can get a new or nearly new blue gear knob. I've tried buying a new one from Toyota, to find they've de-listed the blue one and you can only buy black!!
The one on my car if quite worn, and I've never see any for sale in breakers yard's etc. Help anyone?

The fog light switch bulb on the dash has blown on my Mk1b. How do you change those? Any help would be great.

Re: MR2 Mk1 Wheels
Thanks everyone!
If I do change them I'll probably just go for 15''. Will all the studs etc be deep enough for new wheels? Also is it ok have budget tyres or is it better to just buy wheels and pick my own tyres. Any advice?

Paint Restoration
Can anyone give me advice as to where to go to get my paintwork polished professionally. My car is good, but has fine little black dots on the surface that only come off with lots of rubbing. I've seen companies like Clean Image, that can do this, but I'm in Berkshire/Surrey and would love to go som...

MR2 Mk1 Wheels
Can anyone help. I've got a lovely Mk1 white MR2 and can't decide what to do about the wheels. I'm considering getting the original ones restored (to keep it original), but am also considering simply getting some new 5-spoke wheels which probably would look better. What would all you MR2 Mk1 enthusi...
