Re: [FINALIZED] Phoenix Power Departure II Pro - Turbo exhaust

It's just a shame they never made the D2/D2 Pro fully stainless. All of them tend to rot at that bloody y section. Yip it’s external corrosion, but if u look after them they last. I used to treat and paint mine with VHT. It’s not looking to shabby. https://flic.kr/p/263FZwK https://flic.kr/p/24APfLh

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Should I Remove My EBC

Maybe, I used to hate it on a cold morning when it would hit the fuel cut even with a defender in there.

Electrical / electronic setup hasn’t been a strong point of mine

Thanks very much for this, I’ve literally just taken mine off the car too and was thinking of selling it but hadn’t got the foggiest what was the going rate.

Hope it sells for you :thumleft:

OEM Turbo Exhaust Heat Shields

So I’m in the process of returning my GTS back to stock(ish) I’m going for an OEM+ look. Now I’ve stripped down the exhaust to paint the back box and pipe in VHT satin black paint.

Now my question....

The tinware around the pipework, do I need this back on?

What purpose did it serve?

Looks great mate. I'm not a fan of the number plate surround personally, but it does look great. Well done! You’re not a fan of the surround! How dare you!! It actually wasn’t my cup of tea at first, but when I bought the car it had allround band holding the plate on and when I went to Ha...

18’s are far to big IMO.

They are ok for show but destroy the ride quality.

17’s are my maximum although I run 16’s

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] no power

I had this but my issue was timing had slipped.

I highly doubt the o2 sensor would cause such a power problem.

Is the turbo spooling / boosting?

I Have A Nintendo Switch

I was in hospital a couple of months back and my wife kindly bought me a Nintendo Switch......this was to aid rest and recovery. Currently I have Fifa 18, splatoon 2, Doom, mario kart 8, street fighter. Got to say Nintendo really hit a home run with this one. Now before anyone gets bent out of shape...
