Re: My Motor (Wheel change)
Just thought I'd add some more pics as I changed my wheels to my old 3 piece split rims again (15x7 front 15x7.5 rear). Took me a little while to clean but worth the blood sweat and tears! The edges were completely black before (fun times I still can't feel my finger tips!). Also going back to 15&qu...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Thinking of modifying my Buddy Club Spec II to add a Burns muffler
Hi Mate, Yeah finding the right exhaust is trial and error its quite hard finding the one you want. I thought I'd give it a try see if anyone has had any experience with how much of a db decrease people have had with burns muffler. Thanks for your reply though. Heres the link.. http://www.burnsstain...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Thinking of modifying my Buddy Club Spec II to add a Burns muffler
Hi, I was thinking about chopping out the resonator/muffler part of the exhaust and adding a burns muffler in there to bring down the noise for track days. Does anyone if the sound reduction would be worth while? I have a forged engine with a blitz kkk k26 turbo chucking out 300bhp so it has very go...

Re: best tyre width for track use
To be honest mate no I couldn't tell the difference in the tyre size as it most probably made a very minuscule difference for those sizes. The footprint of the tyre isn't that much different as you aren't increasing the width of the wheel and if you increased the width of the wheel you would have mo...

Re: best tyre width for track use
What width are your wheels for the tyres? I had a set of 16x7 16x8 and I was using 225/45 and 245/45 but if I kept them longer I would have preferred to use 205/45 and 225/45 even though the 225/45 and 245/45 were fine. Its personal choice really I would opt in trying the closest tyre set to stock a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What anti roll bar drop links should I get?
Yeah I know tell me about it, but I read in the contents of the package bolts and nuts not included.
The M8's arent that small in there its ok to use them theres no rattles, when I change my arbs front and rear ill change the bolts and nuts as well. but M8 or M10's are fine.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What anti roll bar drop links should I get?
Got mine today and fitted them. Seem to be quite good. The thing is they dont come with bolts so you have to by some they only come with washers. I bought mine from screw fix I got M8x50 bolts and M8 nuts. If I had the choice to buy them again I would have got M10x40 bolts and M10 nuts. The knocking...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] new rims
Hi mate,
I've got some bbs lm's on my car 17x8 +35 offset and 17x9 rear +35 offset.
The fronts need spacers but the rears are fine, but I am using coilovers and am not sure what they would be like with stock suspension.
Sanchi
Edit: Forgot to mention Im using 215/40 fronts and 245/40 rears.
