Inter-changable Parts?

Just wondering if there are any inter-changeable parts from the SW20 to the ZZW30? The reason I ask is because I have an SW20 Turbo and am going to buy a ZZW30 and thought I could re use my coilovers. Thanks. Sanchi EDIT: Also forgot to mention I have Recaro Speeds in the SW20. Would those rails fit...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] The Law??

Just wanted to know how the law works with having your interior stripped out and having a roll cage etc? It's normally insurance companies that don't like roll cages. do you think the insurance need to know if you strip the car? I never mentioned stripping the car  As for whether they'd objec...

Re: Rev3 Turbo hesitation & backfire

I had a hesitation problem at one point it would happen every time I put my foot down and came on hard boost. So I went looking through all the ignition components changed everything one by one... i.e. spark plugs, ht leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm, but found out it was my ignition coil in the end. ...

So I'm getting the idea that theres no real legal issue with stripping the interior of your car.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] The Law??

I can't see the police having an issue with a stripped interior. I spoke to an MOT tester and they actually prefer a stripped interior because its easier to check for rust and sill damage etc. I have HIDs on my vectra (daily driver) and 2 MOTs have not caused issues. No police have said anything so...

[Mk2] [Turbo] The Law??

Hi, Just wanted to know how the law works with having your interior stripped out and having a roll cage etc? I am thinking about stripping my interior again but I still want to use it as a daily driver so if I got stopped how would the law react? Do they class this as a modification and also what is...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] My Blitz KKK K26 Turbo Charger.

I was looking into it what litre engine they are suited to, and found for a single turbo unit 2L-2.5L. I read that some of the skyline and supra guys in the states and aus use them as twin turbo units and get 900bhp from two of my style k26, but there are a few variants of k26 turbos.

[Mk2] [Turbo] My Blitz KKK K26 Turbo Charger.

Hey, Just thought I'd share my findings on my turbo charger. I just found out after looking at the I.D tag on the turbo housing and doing a Google search that my K26 Turbo Charger (aka K3T 3070MGA) is in fact the largest K26 of the various K26 types made. This turbo charger is a hybrid which has a m...

Re: Exhaust fabrication to meet Track Day regs.

I'm still trying to find out some info but a few local places to me are clueless. I think you may have to compromise by creating a separate track exhaust as it might be easier than to chop up your dep 2. But I'm still looking into it...
