Mk2 [Turbo] Drooping screen sun visors. Possible fix ?
The sun visors on my T-Bar are drooping about 45mms from the headlining to the rear of the visor. The resistance between the chrome bar and the inside of the visor has all but gone. I do not understand how this resistance is achieved so any ideas on how to return them to near original would be much ...

Re: Using Heated Rear Screen as radio Aerial
I don't think the MR2 type of rear screen is suitable to obtain a good radio reception. I have installed an electronic aerial behind the rear view mirror and masked it from outside view by attaching a small area of non-metallic dot film in front of it on the glass. Works well and I removed the dated...

Re: Cloth seats - FREE
Hi Chris.
Unfortunately the current restrictions on leaving your home only in certain circumstances makes collection for anyone more than around 3 miles away, (and then not legal), an impossibility.
Hope these do not get sent to the tip though.

[Mk2] [NA] Who supplies cable end connectors to fit plug for headlamp retract module ?
As per title.
Toyota do not. Only full looms available.
Any help appreciated.
Possibly some used, (6), with 10cms of pigtails considered even still fitted to the plug.
Thanks. MR22

Thanks for your reply Shinny.
I will study the link you sent later and see what it is all about. It's encouraging that you got your folding mirrors to operate by following it.
I may contact you again sometime - I'm not good with wiring and electrics !
All the best. MR22

[Mk2] [NA] Power folding mirrors to UK N/A REV2. Not later models.
Has anybody fitted power folding mirrors to a UK N/A REV2 ? This has been previously covered in fitting them to REV3 and later UK models as those cars were fitted with door looms that could be slightly modified to suit. REV2 door looms are rather different. Any info on which door looms to use and th...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo electrically folding door mirror. Advice appreciated.
I'm looking to purchase a Mk2 Turbo electrically folding door mirror on Fleabay so am unable to examine the item prior to buying. Could some of you good people confirm, or otherwise, that door mirrors fitted with a 7 wire pin plug were solely the electrically folding type for the Mk2 or was the 7 pi...

Can someone confirm if the wheel centre caps from a 2003 Celica will fit late Mk2 or early Mk3 factory wheels?
Thanks.

Left Field Question
Did the Mk2 ever have an interior Engine Release Lever (Behind the driver's seat) that depicted a Mk2 on it?
I have only ever seen a Mk1 outline on the lever.
Just wondered !

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 5 spoiler
Hi there. Sorry I cannot help with locating a Rev 5 Combat Spoiler. It's a question of being patient and keeping an eye on eBay, Facebook etc. Then if you see one expect a £300 or there abouts price ticket and buy it quickly! Another thing is to consider the cost of paint matching too. I had the sam...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo suspension tower strengthening plates
Something that has puzzled me for a while .......... Were the strengthening plates fitted inside the engine bay to the top of the suspension towers originally finished in black paint, similar to the x-brace, in the body colour or simply in a grey zinc type finish? I have seen all 3 types on differen...

[Mk2] [NA] Rear luggage boot light.
I have a 92 Rev2 UK N/A non ABS Can somebody tell me which fuse protects the circuit for the interior rear boot light? Re: [FINALIZED] rev3 uk rear lh light unit vgc £49.99 inc post
How things have changed. 5 years ago this would have been snapped up but not now, especially from MR2 Club website Sales boards.. Ebay is dominated by virtually one seller and his used parts are fairly expensive in my opinion. It seems to be the case for all standard MR2 items with the only things t...
