[Mk2] [NA] Which braided brake hoses ?
Some advice on braided brake hoses for my Mk2 would be appreciated.
Racetec, Wezmoto, Goodridge and Hel offer them from £50 - £80. I would be pleased to read about your experience and recommendations of them.
Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Raybrig Headlamps
Just to update, I contacted the seller with my questions plus, as suggested, whether they were for vehicles driven on the right or left of the road. The reply came back with a photo of an Mk2 stating they would fit this car. Nothing else, just that they would fit this car. Maybe language was a probl...

[Mk2] [NA] Where is the Mk2 Rev2 N/A standard alarm relay fitted?
Can someone tell me where the relay is for the standard engine bay alarm horn? I thought it was at the back of the rear moulding behind the passenger door but I cannot see it at all. Probably I should go to Specsavers!
Thanks
Thanks

[Mk2] [NA] Rev 5 front wheel spacers. Size?
Hi All.
What maximum size hubcentric spacers can be fitted to standard front Rev 5 wheels without the need to roll the arches or have any problems? Suspension is standard.
Advice appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Mullen.
Yes! That's the very one!
And it looks body coloured in your photo?
Now, has your car been totally resprayed at any time? If it has it will almost certainly now be the body colour. If not, well that's my question answered.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Mk2 Rear Window Surround Seal - Advice please
Hi Mullen,
Thanks for responding. It's actually the seal that is just behind the roof of the car and is between that and the moulding that houses the 3rd brake light.
Still wondering what colour it is on any other colour Mk2 ?

I have a Zircon Blue Mk2. Can anybody tell me if the top most plastic seal between the rear (back) window surround that houses the 3rd brake light and the rear of the roof is black, body colour or even rubbing strip colour? It's probably the same answer for any colour of Mk2 but your answer is appre...

[Mk2] [NA] Mk1 & Mk2 headlights inter-changeable?
Hi All.
Can someone tell me if the Mk1 headlight units, (just the glass reflector part and not with the entire motor etc), are a direct fit into a Mk2 Rev2 N/A? Seen some almost new ones at the breakers and it got me wondering.
Many thanks.

[Mk2] [NA] Headlights Closing Down Mod ?
I believe there is a simple mod that can be made so that the headlight units will close down if the sidelights are on and the headlights are then flashed to warn other road users. As they are at this moment they stay up and can only be returned to the flush position by switching the sidelights off. ...

Thanks for the replies, BUT ......... Nothing seems to cover my Rev2 3S-GE My question about torque settings for the cam cover bolts comes up as follows - GS-GTE - 2.5 N.M. 5S-FE - 23 N.M. Some difference! If anyone has a definitive answer for my model I'd love to know what it is. Thanks. :)

[Mk2] [NA] Torque settings. Help please.
Have a UK Rev2 1994 N/A 3S-GE. Yes, it is Rev2.
Is there a reference anywhere with a list of torque settings for the engine?
Especially interested to know the correct setting for the cam cover bolts to cylinder head.
Thanks.

Wondered if these were worth buying or not?
There seems to be doubt whether they will straight fit a UK N/A.
Info appreciated.
