Thinking of fitting some wheel spacers while retaining my standard 15" wheels and tyres without body mods being needed.
Can someone recommend what type and size to fit and where to get them from ?
A photo would be great too,
Thanks

[All] [Generic] Wanted Items - But are they ? ?
I have responded by PM to several MR2 Parts Wanted postings over time, some for quite difficult things to get giving full details, photos, prices, postage costs etc etc. Even offer to take the item back if not suitable. Initially the response is very favourable with details of my name and address re...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Ignition Switch Removal
Well I've looked and it has been mounted with shear bolts.
I shall have to drill them out to replace it, so looks like a steering column removal job.
Not nice !

Many thanks for that - Now found it !
Next question - Can I remove it without dismantling anything else ? It seems to be stuck at the moment.
Thanks again.

[Mk2] [NA] Where is the electronic speedo sensor located ?
Feel rather stupid posting this, but for the life of me I can't find the speedo sensor in the engine bay. I guess it is somewhere around the gearbox/engine area, but if someone who knows can post up precisely where it is I'd be grateful. Thanks.

[Mk2] [NA] Ignition Switch Removal
I haven't even looked at it yet, but need to remove the ignition switch on my N/A Rev2.
Is this a straight forward job or is it mounted with shear bolts for instance ?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Can you take your mk2 MR2 through a car wash?
Not something I've ever done and doubt that many on this site have either. I believe we all think too much of our cars ! However, if you have no option I would be very careful. The front lower lip and rear spoiler are all very vulnerable, and unless your aerial mast retracts fully, that could be a n...

Yes Willi.
Managed to do it your way but it was a fiddle and took quite a while.
Never mind though - It saved me the £50 charged by the 'Mileage Correction' experts !
Thanks.

Thanks.

[Mk2] [Generic] Steel ramps suitable for a Mk2
Anybody know where I can get a pair of drive up steel ramps suitable for a standard suspension Mk2 ?
The pair I have are too steep, and catch on the lower bumper edge on both the front and rear.
Also, they need to be quite wide to safely accept the width of the rear tyres.
Any help appreciated.

[Mk2] [NA] Part No. required
Can anyone tell me the part number for the rubber grommet that is in the OS moulding of the rear spoiler for a Mk2 UK ? Maybe it only comes as a complete unit ? It's attached to a metal bracket and screws to the underside of the moulding. Mine is rotten and looks lousy around the aerial mast. Many t...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Advice on removing the T badges
Hi Bobby,
Must be a difference between our cars (Mines '94) because my rear badge did have 2 pins - Anyway, no damage done and can still replace it.
Haven't tried to remove the front one yet as am a bit anxious about putting a hot hairdryer on the plastic bumper surround.

Re: Car cover needed asap
I rented a garage in a compound a few years ago to store my near perfect MG in for the winter. When I went back 6 months later to get it out to re-commission it, the car was literally ruined. The garage, which looked fine, had poured water in through the roof and with no ventilation had stayed thoro...

Adjusting headlamp covers ?
Any advice please on how to adjust the steel headlamp covers so that they are flush with the bonnet line on my Mk2 ?
They have 'sunk' to in excess of 7mm on some rear corners and the red turn adjuster is not the answer to rectify this.
Your info greatly appreciated. Thanks.
