Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clock/AC lights dim when headlights turned on

As above  I did have my clock out yesterday playing about with things, there are 4 wires connected to the clock. Constant 12v Ignition 12v Earth Illumination If you have the mr2 manual you can check which wire it is and just snip it (don't leave a loose wire, keep it safe). Or if you are going...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clock/AC lights dim when headlights turned on

Like on a stereo there must be a wire connected which dims the light when the headlights are turned on. Cut that and job done? I'm completely guessing though :-P

Thinking of sticking my boost controller there so will find out soon.

Re: Omori boost gauge install

Hi Gaz, Yep stick a cable tie on the boost gauge, you aren't talking mega pressure so that will hold it no problem at all. Not my engine but you should be t'ing in somewhere near where the furthest red hose appears to the right in this pic: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2621/1901/6550...

Lovely car, not overpriced at all. If I could only convince my gf she doesn't need four seats :(.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Replacement Sub

One of these would do the job. Might be larger than what you are looking for but this sits nicely behind the seats.

Celica Car Mats - MR2 Logo added

I was given some Celica car mats in the week that had a tatty Celica logo on them, something like this: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a105/azian_advanced/Dealer%20Option%20Parts/DSCF2597.jpg I was rather bored at work this week so decided to turn them in to MR2 mats by making my own logos: http:...

Ignitor would be my guess. Is it damp and showing problems at lower temps? I had a similar issue and turned out to be the coil pack.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New mods - A work in progress (Picture Heavy!)

Absolutely stunning. Really good effort going in to this! Just wanted to ask one question if you don't mind? With all the polishing and powder coating going on etc.. How have you gone about spraying the charge cooler? Similar to what I am looking to do just need to look at the options to get a look ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Foglights or not ?

I removed the front fog lights on my Rev 5 NA as I never use them and I dont think that they do anything for the look of the car. I replaced the fog lights with daylight running lights and filled the remaining space with mesh vents carrying raised chrome MR2 lettering. The end result is a more mode...
