The Lambda sensor needs to be a Toyota one, not a Chinese one from ebay

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Head Gasket thickness?
As Bob stated, choose your headgasket thickness based on your piston to head clearance. Check your piston to block deck clearance at TDC, then go from there. General consensus is tighter the Piston to head clearance the better, the trick is to make sure they never touch! It's up to the builder, but...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Head Gasket thickness?
You should aim for a piston to head clearance of 1mm or just less so do some mesurements and work it out.

Re: Boost reading / electrical issue perhaps?
I would go back to a stock ecu, then sort out any problems before using this ecu again.

Not sure how an ECU can increase boost.
Have a look and see what this ecu is please

What code are you getting?
So you have taken the hose off the MAP sensor and put a bolt or somthing to block off the hose?
What boost are you running?

Re: Brake pad reccomendations Ebay bargain ideally!
I'm not trying to convince you, I'm giving the OP an alternative option. If you want to pay a £50+ premium for two brackets, then that's fine. That's the only difference. HEL make good quality hoses, and are a supplier for many motorsport series on two and four wheels. If they were crap like you ar...

Re: Brake pad reccomendations Ebay bargain ideally!
 Not going to get into this argument with you again. A simple clip hardly qualifies as modification to fit. It's literally a bolt on item. Not convinced. I would buy Goodridge over HEL anyday of the week. I have Goodridge lines on mine. I didn't even consider HEL as an alternative. The only r...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil pump swap - anyone done it? anyone want to help me do it!
Just a bit more info on my issue: I have replaced oil with 40/10, new oil filter, cleaned out the sump, replaced oil sensor. so i know only thing left is the pump, which as the car is coming upto 100,000 and 22 years old is to be expected I would check your big end bearing first, I am sure you are ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev2 Turbo with Bolt ons, what's next?
The first place to start on an ugrade of any turbo engine to run higher boost is a set of low compression pistons. Once that is done you can almost do what you want with the turbo, fueling, ecu etc.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] PCV - mini filter or aftermarket catch can?
or fit the filter to the end of the long return hose and place the end somewhere not hovering over the bay. any oil mist is bad into the intake. i personally i run no filter and just point the hose down by the left side engine mount. eventually that filter will clog up restricting flow, i decided t...

The clutch is your problem. It needs bleeding to get any air out. It may be one of the cylinders has seal problems too.
