Re: Windows 7 speech recognition software
I've been practicing again this morning, and it seems to be going quite well. So far, I have opened Internet explorer navigated this web page and typed all of this text without so much as touching it balti amounts, I don't know what balti amounts are it should say keyboard and mouse. Considering thi...

Windows 7 speech recognition software
This is the first time, quite possibly the last time, I have ever used speech recognition software to type something on an Internet forum. It has taken me approximately 1 hour to type this almost dictating word for word because Windows sevens'built in speech recognition software is not the best... A...

Re: PS3 to have "other os" option removed
I doubt anyone bought a PS3 "just for Linux" the fact is a lot of people bought this device believing it could replace your home computer, My Linux set-up (eventually) did everything my Windows Laptop did so that pretty much became a dust collector. Don't see whats idiotic about having on...

What was unfinished about PS3 hardware? I don't get that, I am pretty sure mine is finished and it's never been complicated.

Re: Another brilliant Sony Press Release
So it's ok for all the PS fanboi's to consistently knock the 360 on here, but when some one has a dig back at the PS, it's not ok? :-k I am guilty of it myself, but have only ever done it as a bit of a joke in response to someone else. The difference is people starting threads which are both pointl...

Re: Another brilliant Sony Press Release
That's ok, but don't you think it's a little pathetic? I guess not or you wouldn't bother doing it.
Personally I would prefer to say something stupid than pathetic though I guess we are all guilty of both occasionally.

Re: Another brilliant Sony Press Release
What makes a 360 fanboy keep posting negative stories about Sony where there is nothing negative going on? Do you physically go out looking for press releases and interviews just so you can dis them? That interview was very long and had some interesting answers about the future of the PS3 and Sony's...

Re: Leaked vid of Half Life 2 and project Natal - for Mikee
I think the whole idea is silly. It's great that it works and realyl very clever but I just can't imagine waving my arms about like a loony when you can achieve the same results sprawled out on the sofa with a bowl of ice cream (or a pizza! yum!) and a controller. I just don't see the point really. ...

Re: Tonight My PS3 Packed Up (Yellow light of DEATH!!!!!)
Good luck! I don't quite see the reason for heating up the CPU, GPU and the board though, I mean he heats it up then lets it cool down anyway so I don't quite understand what that is supposed to do. When I've build a pc and put thermal compound on I've never had to heat anything up first, the point ...

Re: PSN to start charging in 2010 ?
Simple answer for me is not to pay. The games are expensive enough, I'm not paying to play them as well and on top of my broadband and phone line. That is just utter madness IMO.

Re: Guess what...Three Red lights .....AGAIN !!!
How many have you had and how old is this one? Do you play on it for very long periods of time? Is it in a ventillated area? none of that really matters with 360's i use my ps3 and 360 in the same tv unit, i play the ps3 a hell of alot more then the 360. since ive had my ps3 ive had 3 360's due to ...

Re: need for speed shift
Sounds like a plan, I'll look forward to that and hopefully I'll have some more time now as I'm just about settling in to my new home, things have been a bit hectic with my two cats and I had to buy everything as I had absolutely nothing, I'm still sleeping on the floor! I've just let the cats out t...

Re: need for speed shift
I've always found the lack of a clutch to be a bit of a turn off, and the option of having the gears on the left is a plus too. The G25 is well worth the money imo provided you have the cash to spare, if not it's worth saving up for. It's pretty solid as wheels go, same for the pedals, the gear stic...

the thing that REALLY annoys me is this, my sisters friend has a problem with her hand, she looses feeling in it every so often and cant grasp things properly all the time. but this qualifys her for £300 every 2 weeks and a free car!? i cant walk and they say its not a good enough reason to even ge...

Re: need for speed shift
Been talking about this in another thread, it's great with the G25 wheel, using the clutch. You using a wheel or the gamepad? Everyone I've spoken to that uses a gamepad with it says it's junk but I think it's awesome with the wheel. Defo enjoying it more than Grid, mostly because of the clutch. Eve...

Re: race driver grid on ps3
Please dont base any NFS game on Pro-Street! Carbon & Undercover, released either side of Pro-Street were miles better. I've just got Shift and have to say it's pretty good with the G25 wheel and the use of the clutch, especially now I have my racing seat set up and 108" projector screen. ...
