Re: which front bumper?
I think he was joking about the border bumper? How about the Revision 6 Border replica with the round side lights from Rogues or contact Headcover in the affiliates section about his front bumpers. The only bumper that comes to mind that wouldn't look better with some skirts would be the early mk2 f...

Re: Getting Screwed
Don't want to make a bad situation any worse for you but when I was 18 my insurance nearly trebled because of a redlight offense. If the same rules regarding insurance apply today (maybe someone with redlight points can clarify?) then i'd fight it all the way if I were in your shoes. On camera equip...

Re: another old timer leaves IMOC
How about instead of throwing your toys out of the pram, you actually put your ideas and concerns to the members and try to drum up some support for how you think the club should be operated?? It's all too easy to start a debate and then jump ship leaving anyone who may agree with you to fend for th...

Re: FAILED MOT!!!!
No free re-test!! Wouldn't bother going back to them tbh unless they gave a free re-test tbh. That's pretty disgusting IMO. I took my car in this year and had 5 attempts to get her passed. I paid for 2 tests plus they let a small hole in the exhaust through. That's service for you and as you can ima...

Re: TRD V6 - Yay or Nay?
I can see your point Gordy, I understand where you are coming from but as with all things some people aren't so sentimental about them as others, I am pretty sure i'll never own one as i'd rather spend the money elsewhere so it really doesn't bother me what someone else is doing. If there was only 1...

Re: TRD V6 - Yay or Nay?
I'd say go for it Cadaver, drop a V6 in it. I'd do it if I had the money, and then buy a house when i've grown-up a bit. :D Here's a couple of VERY OLD discussions on swapping the SARD V8 into an SW20 if they are of any use: The pic at the bottom is from the second link, the first link is a cached p...

Re: am i paranoid?
I'm always checking on mine everytime I go near the front of the house, about 3 times during the night and when I go to the local chinese I have to stand outside if she's not in full view of the take-away. I must confess though, a small interaction with a local pint glass yielding 'street drinker' a...

Re: IN-PHASE CD/MP3 Headunit. Strange bargain!!
Now noticed the offer has gone and the price has dropped a little to approx £125 which is still more expensive than I paid. I installed the unit in under an hour, with no problems at all and the SD/MMC reader is FAB and a lot quicker than I expected using a 2GB card. Although there's better systems ...

New front page oversight.
Nice new front page!!
Just a minor oversight though, on the Events page, the navigation links to the About Us page and the Events page have a .html extension instead of .php so don't work.
Nice work though. =D>

IN-PHASE CD/MP3 Headunit. Strange bargain!!
Been looking at the above product at motor-world for a while now. Today I decided to bite the bullet and buy one but they didn't have it in store. Whilst searching for similar headunits I came across the same one by accident on a website called PIXmania. The product is the same price as at motor-wor...

It's a bit rough but thought i'd butt in with my attempt at the autopista spoiler. I was bored.
In fact, the more I look at it, the more wonky it looks.

Re: LED "Pulse" brake light bulbs
I can't understand how people justify it from the safety angle. You have definately proved that fact. With the other safety features Mercedes have introduced; 'Brake Assist Plus' and 'Pre-Safe' why would they even bother with quaint flashing lights if they gave no significant safety advantag...
