Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Standard Tubby Suspension...rock hard?

Firm - yes Rock hard - no This isn't some shitty French car with supersoft suspension for wallowing round corners. It's a sports car, don't forget. Yeah but neither is my friends scoob! Really though. it does seem to be very hard. I think I'll just have to take wheels off and see if there are any m...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Standard Tubby Suspension...rock hard?

Hi. I have a rev3 and the suspension is so hard!!!! It didn't seem to be so bad until you get in a scoob and it is more comfortable! The scoob is a '93 WRX JDM just so everyone knows. I don't know if it has had 'uprated' springs or if they are standard. My question, is the tubby suspension naturally...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Tyre Pressures

my tyre sizes are 205/45 16 on the front and 225/50 16 on the back. Slightly wrong profile on the back but should allow for more progressive breakaway.
I filled them to the 2 and 2.3 as "standard" and so feels MUCH better

=D>

Cheers guys.

[Mk2] [Generic] Tyre Pressures

Hi.
I know on the door it says 2.0 at front and 2.3 at the back. My question is, I have 16s on my Turbo. Are the tyre pressures the same or should they be different? If so where can I find said pressures?

Cheers in advance

My first "moment" in tubby ownership

Well, I don't know what the weather was like where you were yesterday but it was blue skys and sunshine so I went for a drive :D After about an hours worth of spirited driving (and 3/4s of a tank  ) I was on my way home when the beastie stepped out on me at 50mph! The corner in question is ...

Hey paul. It's amazing how many 2s there actually are when you look. Paul and Rob, we should meet and all go for a hack one weekend - obviously when sunny and dry :D

White MK2 - Cambridge saturday night

Hi.
Went to a workmates (and imoc'ers) wedding party on saturday night. Passed a White MK2 with White wheels and (what looked like) bomex front bumper.

If you're on here, liked the car and I also agree with the white wheels/car combo! :thumleft:. I live in Brampton

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] A favour please peeps - In gear acceleration - Rev 3>

Just in case anyone was wondering...

30 - 50 in 3rd/4th/5th in seconds. I did it 3 times just for fun :D

3rd - average 3.7 secs
4th - average 7.2 secs
5th - average 9.9 secs

Feels like an age in 5th, but fun in 3rd

Cheers Paul.

My Rev3 has the basic system I think. Time to upgrade those tinny speakers I think.

Cheers for the reply

[Mk2] [Turbo] Stereo systems in Rev3s

Hi. Have tried searching but to no avail. Need a better search engine!

I've recently aquired a Rev 3 turbo and have heard people talking about the "Premium" system with subs and amps etc. Should my 1994 rev3 have said system? It is a GT T-bar if that helps.

Cheers in advance

[Mk2] [Turbo] No sound on Front Speakers

Ok. I've recently bought a 1994 turbo (rev 3) from importer without a stereo. I wired my old sony stereo in today with a new cable bought from halfords as none of the other cables were bitched :D All went in perfectly well but only the rear channels work - nothing from either the door speakers or tw...
